Chapter 104: Ben 10 Prime: Lucky Jason

~Third POV~

Las Vegas.

Las Vegas, often known simply as Vegas, is the 26th-most populous city in the United States, the most populous city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County. The city anchors the Las Vegas Valley metropolitan area and is the largest city within the greater Mojave Desert.

Currently away from a booth that had the Key Stone of Bezel ready Jason soon appeared to the booth man as he smiled happily at him as he spoke, "Hello sir I would like to buy that keystone from you. Don't worry I'll pay for the price for it good man."

The seller looked at Jason as he smiled and gave it to Jason as he bought the Keystone of Bezel as he began to leave immediately as he thinks to himself as he began to absorb it into his body using [Overhaul], 'Ah… this is the good shit right here. Choosing to go to Prime during Lucky Girl appearance would certainly be useful here. Especially with the Bezels once I get it all and with my abilities, it's cheating at this point.'

Jason decided to leave to the Prime timeline during its early years when Ben and his family Max and Gwen went on their three-month road trip. He specifically chose this point to get the Charms of Bezel as soon as possible.

The Charms of Bezel are six magical talismans that grant the wielder different unique powers and abilities depending on the charm.

The Keystone of Bezel: Increases all of the natural powers, abilities, and skills of the possessor, and amplifies the power of the charms tenfold.

The charm of Luck and Probability: The charm of luck quite literally reverses Murphy's Law, meaning it grants the wielder supernaturally good luck. This causes anything and everything to go their way, but only if there was a possibility of it going their way in the first place. It makes all of the possessor's endeavors succeed in a good way, however any opponents that may happen to be nearby suffer from increased misfortune.

The charm of Resurrection: The charm of resurrection returns its host to life or recover from physical wounds and injuries and regain consciousness if the user is unconscious but only after a short amount of time as it was shown in the cartoon.

The charm of Pyrokinesis: The charm of pyrokinesis grants its host the ability to magically generate, blast, and telekinetically manipulate fire.

The charm of Telekinesis: Allows the wielder to fly through the air at incredible speeds and also has great telekinetic control and manipulation over multiple objects or people all at once.

The charm of Electrokinesis: Much like the charm of pyrokinesis, the charm of electrokinesis grants the wielder the ability to create, generate, control, and manipulate all forms of electrical energy at will.

At this point, Jason plans to still the charms from Hex as at this point he has all five of them ready for him to steal and add to his talents as well as the abilities tenfold. He plans to cheat his way to the top in Ben 10 world.

*Vroom*

As he thinks of this he uses <Hell Gate> to escape from Las Vegas and on the New Orleans where the event of the Lucky Girl episode took place as he glances around the area reminiscing about how similar it was to his world.

Looking around he heard Aiba respond in his thoughts again being very careful in this world as she observes it as she informed him, 'So far everything is good Jason sir… so far nothing bad happened yet for those heroes to show up as well as all the information about this world… 'public' knowledge. The information about Area 51 is also added.'

Jason nods his head at this as he recalls from Alien Force an episode involving Area 51 of this world as he frowns at it.

Area 51 is a top-secret U.S. military base containing a subterranean prison that has been in commission by the United States Government for around 50 years. Area 51 was established nearly 50 years ago. A prison was built underneath the base and used to contain 775 "alien combatants" arrested by Colonel Rozum on charges of being possible threats to humanity.

Rozum is loyal to the United States Government, wanting to protect his country and planet from harm. Even though he has been put in charge of any case dealing with "weird stuff" by the Pentagon following his first joint operation with Ben, Rozum is not too pleased about aliens, monsters, robots, UFOs, and anything unearthly in general.

Rozum has severely put a strain on his relationship with the Tennysons, being on thin ice with Max Tennyson regarding the unethical way Area 51 has been used to imprison aliens caught by the military.

Of course, Rozum views most if not all aliens as threats to America and Earth. For example, he showed no remorse over Prisoner 775's situation and believed Blukic and Driba were dangerous enough to want them eliminated.

Due to taking years of hard work to gain the clearance necessary for confidential topics, Rozum was frustrated to learn that Ben's team is already aware of the Paradox Project.

Jason scowls his face at this as he slaps his hand over his face as he sighs at this as he spoke to himself in his head, 'Sigh… of course, we have to deal with those people. Can't forget the old fashion racism against aliens here but still hitting up Area 51 sounds like fun to me. But first…'

His eyes gleamed with greed as he saw the people more specifically the Tennysons just entered inside the of the witchcraft soon followed by Jason acting interested by the scene before him as he hid himself using his talents of the <Ultimate Spy>.

He was hiding his true intent for later when the time comes as he began to prepare himself away from the spot in the show he remembers as best as he could to get ready for the upcoming problem ahead.

Ben is looking through a tribal mask, while Gwen and Grandpa Max are with an elderly female tour guide. The guide is describing a book in a display case called the <Archamada Book of Spells>, said to contain exceedingly powerful ancient spells, rituals, witchcrafts, and incantations, dating back to the sixteenth century.

Remembering the book Jason looks calmly at the book as he pauses for a moment till his head nods as an idea comes to him as he thinks to himself seriously, 'Yeah if I remember correctly doesn't that book have a time-traveling spell? I think the chant was Quis quandum era maflictus, iem feachus mas redentegero, quis venit pro mas mesquam essei? Hmm… ok time travel magic bullshit added to the list.'

Ignoring the book, he continues to listen to the guide explaining the <Archamada Book>, as Gwen repeats her words perfectly. The guide says that Gwen should work at the museum.

After she walks off, Ben makes Gwen feel better by saying that she's probably older than the book itself and makes a face to illustrate that fact whispering to her, "Don't let "mummy-face" get to you, she's probably older than that spellbook."

Gwen laughs at this in light of the situation as all of a sudden, everyone is suddenly lifted off the ground and pinned to the ceiling. Max makes the obvious observation that this isn't part of the tour reaching for his kids.

Remaining patient Jason for his part was waiting for the plot itself to happen as he looks out he thinks to himself happily, 'Ahh… finally. I was wondering when the mean old wizard Hex of the magic land would come out to play.'

From a window, a stream of red smoke passes through and materializes into a man that is wearing a red-and-black-colored robe. He carries a wooden staff with a bird's head and a necklace with dozens of magical and mystical charms on it.

The man in question is named Hex a magician.

*Crack*

As he breaks the bookcase with a verbal spell, the man calls the book to him, he then began to speak as if he already won, "The Archamada book of Spells... All of its power shall soon be mine!"

With the magician focused on the book, Ben prepares to activate the Omnitrix. Before he can do so, however, the man stops whatever was pinning them to the ceiling, causing them to plummet.

Jason seeing this prepares to fall on the ground by crouching his legs into position as he began to land down as he does so roll on the ground to lessen the damage of the fall as he speaks under his breath, "Hmm… the magic power output wasn't bad but he could do better than this. Shame I'm a need a few things from him first."

Not needing to look further or get ready he sees a flash of green light behind his body as a smirk appeared on his face as he thought to himself, 'About time the kid finally gets into the business of things.'

*Blink*

Luckily, Ben transforms into XLR8 and gets ahead of everyone. He ties off a large hanging banner to act as the slide, catching everyone before they fall on the ground. He orders them all to go outside.

"Everyone get out!!"

Jason made sure to move away from them as he closely follows the action and ignores what Ben said shaking his head as he began to talk to himself quietly, "Yeah… no way I'm missing this chance. This will be my only chance to increase my bullshit luck and never have to worry about anything bad ever again with my <Ultimate Lucky Student>."

Max warns him to be careful, since he does not know what the man is capable of in a concerned voice, "Ben, be careful. You don't know what tricks he's got up his sleeve."

Hearing the voice of Concern Ben as XLR8 began to move as Hex stands facing Ben, as his 2nd Charm activates. He holds up his staff and recites an incantation, causing flames to erupt from the staff, setting the tapestry alight, As XLR8 runs up walls to avoid the flames, shards of red crystals fire out from the staff, which also shoots a blinding light at Ben.

*Pew*

*Bam*

*Crash*

The attack landing when XLR8 tries to face Hex head-on, he's met with bright light from Hex's staff, causing him to slide by and slam into some cases on the wall. As Hex turns to finish him off, he's hit with a couple of trash cans thrown by Gwen and Max as Gwen responds awkwardly of this, "I guess we got his attention…"

Max then replies next to her seeing Hex begin to get their attention in regret, "Kind of wish we hadn't now."

*Swoosh*

Though they regret doing so in hindsight Hex uses his power to throw them across the room as Jason carefully avoids the fight beginning to get closer to where when one of the charms falls off from the ground as he prays hopefully, 'Now come on! I just have to wait for this fight for them to be done and I will be good as gone.'

*Swoosh*

*Bam***Bam**Bam*

*Bam**Bam**Bam*

Luckily, Jason XLR8 gets back up and surprises Hex, encircling in a blur of motion and hitting him until he loses consciousness. During the fight, one of the charms is knocked away as Jason takes this chance to get the charms as Hex was getting the shit beaten out of him as he collected one of the charms as he grins happily but making sure to keep his hoodie hide his face.

But he quickly moved away from the scene as he has gotten fortunately thanks to charm increasing his luck to stupid levels. While he was at it he stuffed the <Archamada Book of Spells> that would one day fall under Gwen's hands in the future as it would be useful in the future for him.

*Thud*

A large thud sound resonated from the attack as Hex was sent flying to where luckily it was next to Jason was hiding as XLR8 began to gloat about his win, "Just doing with I need to do and keeping it low-key kicking bad guys but."

At that moment by pure chance of luck XLR8 was distracted long enough to see a crowd of people began to come back inside as Jason took the rest of the Charms of Bezel inside his pocket as he started to fuse them using <Overhaul> absorbing their abilities adding to his own instead.

Jason takes his time to the crowd where they originated from he began to get closer acting all happy taking out his flip phone as he takes photos of XLR8 as he boasts to the crowd, "Who's your hero everyone!"

With that, the day has come to a near end as Jason already left early to locate where the Rustbucket is as he began to see the rest of the Tennysons get inside and leave as Jason made sure to follow at a safe distance keeping his appearance hidden till they left to a restaurant later from what he recalls of the show.

For now, he simply follows the Rustbucket at a distance…

Somewhere else in some part of the world three people came out as a man wearing a professor clothing began to speak to them, "Now then my friends it's time to search for that weird time anomaly ok?"

The three people who the professor spoke to were Keven, Gwen, and Ben from the Omniverse series of Prime timeline Ben smacks his fist together as he spoke confidently, "Sure thing Paradox. Now which baddies decided it was a good idea to mess with my younger self past huh? Don't they know they're messing with the greatest hero in the Galaxies?"

A/N: The choice I pick was prime in the Lucky Girl episode getting the charms secured providing the MC a better chance to get his plans working smoothly as well adding more BS to his luck with even more Bullshit luck thanks to the charm of luck and probability practically making him have plot armor on his side more than x 10.

A/N Extra: Also side note Ben and his crew certainly got here early but if anyone was wondering which version of Omniverse this Ben is from Prime canon timeline but hasn't met Rook yet.
