Samantha took a deep breath once she made it to the kitchen safely. Though her heart was thumping madly when she saw the man who had intimidated her, her mind had screamed at her to leave the hall before it was too late. And Samantha had chosen to follow her mind, despite her intending to stay in the King's presence for long.
