I'll play fair

I opened my eyes as I was not expecting that.

"Wait, what? We are traveling again?"

"Mmmm. We'll leave early tomorrow morning".

After saying this, he placed his hand on my shoulder and told me.

"If you feel uncomfortable at any point, you have to let me know okay?"

I didn't know what he was driving at and I didn't even know where we were going but if it happened to be his family house then I understand why he was being like this.

I pushed his hands away and looked at him as though I was figuring him out.

"Where are we going exactly?"

He placed his hands back into his pocket and looked at me tenderly. To be honest, It's been a while since I last saw his stone-cold face.

"My family house".

'Ahah, I knew it'.

"Okay then, might as well begin to pack my things".

I was about to leave when he drew me in and hugged me from behind.

"If you need me, just call me okay?"

'Okay, you are being too protective. It's not like this would be the first time I'd be going to see them so calm down'.

I tried to free myself and succeeded. I didn't say anything else and just left.

The next morning, he was already in the car waiting for me. It didn't take long for me to join him and soon enough, we were on our way.

When we arrived, there were housekeepers ready to assist and take our things inside. Grandma came out to see us and we exchanged pleasantries.

"Ohh, you look more beautiful than the last time I saw you".

I smiled at her compliment.

"You look even better grandma. It's so nice to see you again".

She was smiling. Obviously, she was like every other elderly woman who enjoyed being told that they looked younger than their age except that in her case, it wasn't exaggerated at all. She looks totally amazing.

"Come, come, come. Let's go inside and talk more".

She said and I followed her into the house forgetting Lu Jinho completely. It was obvious that the old woman had almost no issues when it concerns me. She looked like she genuinely liked me and I liked her too a lot.

I didn't see any other family members and I think she noticed I was looking around.

"Nobody is here yet darling, you should go upstairs and rest a little. They'll be here soon".

I nodded and went to the room I used the last time I was here. When I got in, I saw Lu Jinho and for some reason, I couldn't stop staring at him.

He wasn't wearing anything on top so I could see his bare chest. I am used to seeing him in black trousers but right now, that black trouser was making s totally different impression.

He obviously noticed me drooling and he cleared his throat. I couldn't see myself but I was sure that my face was really red right now. I immediately averted my eyes.

"Put on some clothes will you? You are not the only person inside this room".

"Why? Do I make you uncomfortable?"

He asked and began coming closer. I knew exactly what he was going to do so I ran out of the room and slammed the door.

"Lu Jinho, you'll be the end of me".

I went downstairs but no one was there so I decided to go outside and get some air. I went to the backyard and I saw this beautiful greenhouse. I couldn't resist it so I went in to see what was inside.

On getting in, I saw so many beautiful plants with a very large tree in the middle of the house. The house was made of glass so one could see through it but the plants inside were covering most of the glass so it was possible for someone outside not to see what was going on inside clearly.

I kept admiring the tree in the middle of the house. It had white floors on it. They looked different and weird in a way but they also looked really beautiful.

I kept staring at it but then, I heard someone talking. I was feeling strange so I decided to trust my instincts. I hid close to the glass where I was sure they wouldn't be able to see me.

"You are going to do everything possible to get him this time around".

"But mummy, he doesn't even look at me. He is always glued to that orphan".

"The more reason why I'm telling you to get him. It will be easy to trample on such a lowlife don't you think".

"I don't think it'll be that easy mom".

"Don't worry Nana, I'll help you. There is nothing anyone can do about it, you'll definitely become the young miss of the Lu family".

For some reason, what I heard brought out some kind of fun spirit inside me, and a smirk formed on my lips.

'Don't worry young miss Nana, I'll play fair'.

After I was sure no one was there anymore, I stepped out and went back to the mansion. When I got back, I realized more people had arrived. I obviously stayed in the greenhouse much longer than I thought.

When I stepped in, almost all the eyes in the living room were looking at me. Not that I really cared but I wasn't in the mood for that right now. I bowed to show my respect.

"Hello everyone, if you'll excuse me, I need to rest a little".

After Shin Suri had gone upstairs, Lu Ju Min went closer to Lu Jinho and asked a question that made everyone turn to Lu Jinho.

"What is this Jinho, am I expecting a little nephew or niece soon?"
