Electricity, Ice and Poison

"I wonder how this is going to work. Training to hopefully gain a lightning skill in a world that has no skills at all, and it could all possibly be nonsense, but I guess there's nothing else to do anyway."

A screen came down and the head scientist told Leonidas, "Hello 0000, we did not want to alarm the others, but you will be undergoing a special set of training for the Ice element and Poison element along with the Lightning element. This room is specifically created to use electricity in making your body adapt to it while also being at temperatures so low that no human or animal should be able to survive, there will also be poisonous gas present in the room at all times.. Not only will you be struck with artificial lightning every day for hours, you will also be frozen and then thawed out right before you die, all of your food will be poisonous and this will help you gain resistance to it as well. All three elements will be trained simultaneously and they will all be high intensity, but I trust that you will survive and emerge as the strongest subject once again. We do not know if training in three elements will lead you to awaken to more than one skill or if they will join into one, but if anyone can do it then it will be you."

"Thank you for the compliment, I will try my best in becoming as familiar with Ice, Lighting and Poison as I possibly can over the next six years. If possible, I would appreciate it if you made the danger and power of my experiments even higher as I believe that it will lead me to become even stronger."

"That will be arranged, I commend you for wanting to become stronger."

The screen was pulled back into the ceiling and Leonidas noticed that the room was very quickly getting colder and gas was being pumped into the room. Leonidas coughed as soon as the poison gas made contact with him, although he did not feel as though he would die, he felt weak. The below freezing temperature made him feel stiff and his body was unable to move. While he was feeling the weakest he ever had, a bolt of electricity attacked him.

This continued for two years and Leonidas eventually stopped feeling anything from the Ice, Lightning or Poison gas. He asked the head scientist to increase the power of the experiments but he was informed that the power was at the highest possible value.

The next experiments performed on Leonidas were more injections. There were three of them that he was given huge doses of daily. All three types were injected separately and each one only lasted eight months and then it was swapped with another.

The first was a white liquid with electrical currents running through it. Every time it was injected into Leonidas' body, he was paralysed and his blood became slightly more electrified. Once the eight months of the Lightning injections were done, Leonidas' blood was almost fully white and sparks could be seen running through it.

The second was a dark blue liquid that was freezing cold. When it was injected into his body, his blood froze and turned into an ice blue colour but still had the electricity running through it. His body became colder and his skin colour became more lifeless and pale. This continued for another eight months and his body felt colder than any existing substance.

The third was a bright purple liquid with incredible poisonous properties unlike anything ever seen before. It felt as though ' blood was boiling when it was injected into his body. His blood became a blue and purple coloured mix with electric currents running through it. The final eight months of the injections finished and he was now in the final two years of experiments.

The final two years were spent training to withstand other elements but the training was nowhere near as intense or elaborate as before.

He trained against water by holding his breath under water for extended periods of time and he had high pressure water cannons shot at him.

Fire was trained against by quite literally standing in a room full of fire and becoming immune to burns.

Wind was trained against by resisting high pressure winds being shot at him and attempting to push him back.

Wood and Earth could not really be trained against as they were the ability to control trees and the ground so they were skipped.

He finished training against all of the elements, and that concluded the six final years of experimentation. He was taken back to the original room and there were no test subjects remaining except him.

The screen came down for the final time as the experimentation was now done and the head scientist was there, "Congratulations 0000. You have managed to survive and are the only successful test subject. Some of the others managed to do quite well, but due to their lack of ability and potential, they died. You may be confused as to what you are going to be doing from now until the apocalypse arrives but do not worry, you will finally be able to experience real life. You are sixteen years old and need to have social skills to survive. You are going to be sent to a school in England and you will learn how to live with other people normally for a few months. We do not know specifically when the apocalypse will come, but it will be soon. You are going to be monitored while outside, but once the apocalypse descends, you will be free to do as you please as long as you kill zombies and monsters to your best ability."

"Sounds good, when do I leave?"

"Right now actually. Go through that door and the corridor will lead you to an air hangar with a private jet and private pilot. He will take you to the location of your new school."

Leonidas followed the instructions and after a few hours of being in the plane, they arrived in a field.

Leonidas got out and th plane flew away. He had been told what direction he needed to go in, and he made his way to the school. Leonidas had been given the uniform and he was wearing it. The design was very plain with black trousers, a white shirt, black shoes and a black tie. His hair was cut to be quite long and wavy, but not over the top as it did not reach past his ears in length. Despite being blonde when he was younger, his hair was pure white with streaks of yellow, light blue and purple due to being trained so intensely with Lightning, Ice and Poison. He had also been given a single earring for his right ear, it was just a silver circle with a pure diamond in the centre. Due to being sixteen and all of the enhancement done to his body, he was six feet tall and very attractive which meant that people would probably not have a problem with him joining the school. The only issue was that he had no social skills as he had practically been along for eleven years.

He arrived in front of the school and walked through the main doors.
