An Eye for an Eye

"G-Guys, help me!" Sonny screamed as he stared at his friends with pleading eyes, unable to harm or push Nick away despite struggling.

Lola got up to help, but Johan grabbed her hand.

"Can't you see what he's doing to Sonny?" she screamed at Johan, whose fear was evident in his eyes.

He whispered, "Let's call for help instead!"

"Didn't no one teach you kids not to mess with strangers?" Nick asked, his voice devoid of his usual aloofness as he repeatedly palmed the brat's face.

Chelsea, right at the corner of the furniture and cowering, cursed Nick and impulsively grabbed another liquor bottle.

She took a large step towards Sonny before swinging the bottle at Nick's head.

Possessing peak human perception and below-peak human agility, Nick tilted his head slightly to the side, missing the bottle by a hair's breadth.

He let the liquor bottle land on his right hand, then yanked it out of Chelsea's hand!
