Ninuo's Death

"Big sister A'Nuo I didn't know it was such a long hike to the top please can you carry me" Mingyue said, little beads of sweat dotting her forhead, she cut such a sorry image and Ninuo felt pity for her.

Exhausted herself, she agreed to carry Mingyue on her back as no other maid that followed was strong enough to carry her.

Once they got to the top Ninuo was completely exhausted. she found a boulder a way off from the edge of the cliff. They could sit comfortably on it and enjoy the scenery. she thought it a good place for them to rest as she placed Mingyue down and sat on the boulder.

"big sister A'Nuo you look tired, thanks to you I was able to get some rest, I saw some wild fruit on the way that are good to replenish your strength I'll go pick some for you" Mingyue said cutely.

"Oh no need..." Ninou started to say, but was cut short by Mingyue.

"Don't refuse me A'Nuo" she said playfully stern. " you've already done so much for me today. It's the least I can do"

"I'll take my bow with me, you don't have to worry "

Ninou looked at Mingyue and smiled. She finally let her go after asking all the maids to go with her so she could feel more at ease.

A few minutes after Mingyue and the maids had disappeared to pick fruit Ninuo heard some commotion then a crisp arrow sound. worried about Mingyue she didn't even care to pay attention to the sound as she stood to make her way in the direction Mingyue had gone in. But that was exactly what the arrow needed to pierce into her chest. pain coursed through her body but she didn't have time to pay attention to it as she noticed a black clothed person holding on to Mingyue and leading her to the edge of the cliff.

She rushed over to save Mingyue but was easily pushed down the cliff by the black clothed person. It was at that instant she realised the arrow had been poisoned. As she was falling she reached to pull out the arrow but stopped hands trembling as she saw the tail of the arrow. In all the central plains, only princess Khutulun, Mingyue owned this set of arrows, they were custom made by her older brother just for her.

She felt extreme pain everywhere, as her mind slowly faded she noticed a deathly handsome face. He had worry and pain written visibly as he stretched out his hand to her. Then her mind blanked out.
