A Legacy?

"Senior, excuse my rudeness, but do you belong to the animal race?"

Ling Tian couldn't stand his curiosity any longer and asked. He had a hunch that Linqi belonged to this extinct and amazing race.

Linqi nodded calmly and said, "That's right, I belong to the animal race and am a guardian of this place, guarding it all my life until I perish. I have been living here for hundreds of thousands of years after this place broke away from the former plane, waiting for the longed-for day to come."

Linqi sighed as he tried to recall some memories from long ago related to the animal race.

"A legacy?" Ling Tian asked as he watched this mysterious shrine more closely.

I still have a feeling that the animal race, as well as other races, can be locked up in their own existential plane without being able to access the Immortal World." Linqi responded after some time.

Ling Tian began to confirm that the animal race really existed long ago and that they had their own world. It was most likely that the other races also had their own world. And he too understood that Linqi had stayed here while he was lost in the void. Now they were on a lower plane so this must have happened long ago.
