Breaking The Space

Ling Tian took a deep breath as he remembered the sensation of breaking the space before expelling all his power. Remembering what Linqi told him reminded him that before breaking the space there seemed to be a strange feeling.

Woosh!

A great quantity of Immortal Chi and Spiritual Energy exploded, Ling Tian combined them together, which caused a change and then bombarded the space in front of him.

In front of Ling Tian, a series of waves began to spread, as if he had just thrown a stone into a calm lake.

With the waves beginning to form in front of him, Ling Tian paid attention and actually discovered that he was feeling a strange sensation, similar to when he would enter teleportation formations and get those feelings by going through the void.

A slight sensation of vertigo that he had not felt for a long time flooded his being as he focused on the space in front of him.

After adding a little more energy, Ling Tian's eyes suddenly lit up when his thoughts became completely excited. In that instant, he discovered that the space in front of him was now something different than normal, as if he could begin to see a different space, as if he was going through the same void with just his eyes.

However, before he had a chance to examine this space closely, these small differences disappeared.

Taking a deep breath, Ling Tian meditated for a long time on what he had understood and the sensation he had gained. He also took an energy recovery pill.

Now he was beginning to understand a little of what Linqi had recommended to him.

Linqi saw this and nodded at Ling Tian's understanding.

After regaining some of his power, Ling Tian again released his Immortal Essence and Spiritual Energy, bombarding the space in front of him and making the whole set of waves appear again.

This time, Ling Tian could feel the changes in front of him much more clearly, which made him more excited.

Slowly, the space in front of Ling Tian wrinkled a little, twisting, like a piece of transparent cloth that had been folded over itself.

From this strange fold, some unusual energy fluctuations appeared that began to cover Ling Tian.

Ling Tian squinted and added more of his Immortal Essence and Spiritual Energy to prevent the process in front of him from ending spontaneously.

As if a door had opened, a dark crack appeared mysteriously in front of Ling Tian. Staring at this tear in space, Ling Tian could not see anything, as if nothing existed inside, but he knew that this was the same void of the other dimension.

The aura around Ling Tian suddenly became disordered when an unimaginable suction force emerged from this crack, crazily swallowing up the Energy of nearby space, creating a mini-violent storm before the crack quickly collapsed and closed.

Ling Tian didn't even have time to look at it carefully before when in a flash, the crack disappeared and the twisted space in front of him returned to normal.

"I was even a little affected by the force of the void..." Ling Tian looked at his body and saw that his clothes had been torn and he had some minor injuries.

Taking a medicine and recovery pill, Ling Tian went into a state of meditation as he understood what had happened.

This was the first time he began to understand Space in such a way, especially that he had no practice at all and even more so that his level of force was at its lowest.

Ling Tian took a long time before he opened his eyes again and his power exploded.

Through repeated attempts and failures, Ling Tian gradually accumulated extremely valuable experience. He would focus on this strange sense of Space he would feel before opening the crack, studying it meticulously.

1 year later, after thousands of attempts, Ling Tian opened his eyes, full of confidence.

He had perfectly understood the feeling that Space was transmitting to him.

Pushing his Immortal Essence and Spiritual Energy in a controlled manner, unlike his previous attempts where he simply poured out as much force as possible, Ling Tian merged the two energies and bombarded the space in front of him.

An orderly series of waves appeared and soon space began to wrinkle and distort. Seeing this, Ling Tian quickly increased his production of Chi and spiritual energy.

Crack!

A dark crack appeared in the air, as if a pair of invisible hands had torn the space apart and suddenly expanded as more force was expelled.

This tear in the space soon began to emit a powerful suction force that caused turbulence in the space around it.

However, now Ling Tian could clearly see the void in front of him, just by jumping in, he could return to the void again.

His consumption of Immortal Essence and Spiritual Energy was now lower than before, clearly he already knew how much energy to add.

WOOSH!

The rift finally closed when Ling Tian stopped adding power, collapsing and shutting down.

"So that's it..." Ling Tian whispered as he recalled the recent sensation: "The more power I add, I can go further into the void..."

As Ling Tian was opening the cracks in space, he realized that if he added little energy, he could appear a few miles away, but if he added a lot of energy by breaking up the space, Ling Tian felt that he could even travel thousands of miles in a single tear!

"Besides, everything I had learned from Space before is not even equivalent to an ounce of sand." Ling Tian smiled bitterly, knowing that the Principle of Space really was mysterious and profound just like the Time. His current knowledge was barely the size of a splinter, so he still had a lot to learn.

"I think I could leave now and return to the Divine Star Continent." Ling Tian smiled contentedly as he stood and stretched, "It's a good thing I left that token that contains my spiritual force, so as long as I approach a range nearby I can easily find the world."

Ling Tian sighed with relief that he had left some kind of mark on that world, but even if he had not, he felt that he could find that little world again through his intuition.

Although he took a long time to study the principle of Space, Ling Tian missed his women very much. He felt that perhaps a maximum of 6 months could have been spent in that world.

"Besides, that strange feeling had not happened again." Ling Tian remembered that in all this time that feeling of his Immortal Essence and Spiritual Energy did not come up again.

If he hadn't been swept away by the storm of the void, Ling Tian felt he could find the place that was calling him.

Turning to look at the mysterious altar, Ling Tian furrowed his eyebrows as he saw that he still felt that attracting sensation, as if it was calling him.

'Does this have anything to do with my calling from before?' Ling Tian wondered as he continued to look at the altar. He had the feeling that this call was slightly the same as the previous times.

'Could it really be this place?' Ling Tian felt that it would be ironic if it turned out that this place was the one that had been calling him from the beginning.

The mysterious altar had shown no sign or anything to show that it was calling him, even Linqi had said nothing about any anomaly related to that.

"I see that you have understood a little of the Space Principle, you really do have talent, it would take others a lifetime to even manage to break the space although you showed them."

Linqi appeared once again beside Ling Tian, congratulating him on his ability and understanding of Space.

"It's all due to the advice of the Senior." Ling Tian shook his head and responded gratefully.

Linqi smiled and then curiously asked, "Does the Holy Shrine catch your eye?"

Ling Tian said, "May I come closer to see it better?"

"You may, but do not go beyond the line marked on the floor." Linqi nodded and pointed to the mark on the ground that was like a circle around the shrine: "That way you won't get hurt."

Ling Tian began to approach the altar as the slight sensation became slightly stronger.
