The Phantom

Sho extends his arm as his bow reappears wasting little time extending the bowstring back as plasma arrows begin to form.

The plasma arrows spread throughout the area. Shooting an array of Arrows the "Phantom Arrow" won't miss his mark. 

Gluttony stands firm in his position.  He doesn't seem to phase as he deflects the arrows as he advances forward toward the archer. 

Sho follows this up with a barrage of arrows shot from his bow. Although the Demon Lord moves forward there was no sign of worry from the Captain of the Pacific Mage Association.

"Hm. The difference is there." the demon lord thinks to himself marching towards Sho.

POOF

A bag of snacks appears in Gluttony's hands as he nonchalantly walks and he deflects all the arrows being shot at him. 

Although things may look slim for the Captain of Squad 8 he shows no signs of worry.

"Hey Captain I see that you are calm. Munch. Munch. Why is that?" Gluttony asks while his mouth is full of food. 

Sho stares into the Demon Lord's Eyes.

Phantom Zone

Suddenly the area around them gets encapsulated within this plasma magic. Sho's eyes are covered with plasma as it encompasses both of his eye sockets. The arrows that once were deflected shoot back at the Demon Lord.

Covered in a plasma and electric-like substance the arrows were now being controlled by Sho.

Sho Kihara Ability Explained: El Phantasmo 

The Captain of Squad 8 uses a unique magic called Phantom. It allows the user to manipulate an area called a Phantom Zone. By simply calling out the ability Sho Aibara's eyes begin to glow a purple hue as magic begins to build up. Not only that but Sho himself transforms.

Gluttony easily dodges and blocks the arrows but they keep coming back around no matter what. 

"Ahhh" Gluttony opens its mouth wide.

CHOMP

Gluttony eats the plasma arrows one by one as they come towards him.

SMASH

"Huh"The snacks that once were in his hands were now gone and destroyed.

The demeanor of the Demon Lord changes.

"You see I was going to have some fun and play with you for a bit. But-"

DASH

The Demon Lord blitzs the Aeon Mage as he gets up close to him looking for a direct fist to send the mage's head flying. 

VOSH

The Captain of Squad 8 suddenly turns into a ghost-like form that slips through Gluttony's attack. The captain's lower body is translucent almost nearly invisible as that purple hue goes over his eyes. 

AH AH AH

Gluttony attempts to hit the Captain of Squad 8 but connects with nothing as it simply passes through the Captain. Gluttony steps back. 

"That's right am a phantom"

"He's a phantom." The Demon Lord says to himself as shakes his head before realizing what the Captain has done.

"Beside that you destroyed my snacks that I wasn't  finished with!" Gluttony yells. 

"My bad the arrows were aiming for you the snacks were in the way I guess" Sho shrugs his shoulders. 

"In the way. How dare you call snacks in the way!" As Gluttony charges in at him. 

"Oh no" Sho says as he raises his left arm.

Over a dozen arrows coated in this purple substance appear and reign down on the demon lord. Being chased down by the endless onslaught of the arrows.

SWISH SWISH SWISH

They continue to rain down.

"You making work today. First, my snacks now you making me run. WELL." Gluttony stops and opens his mouth up wide.

ENDLESS HUNGER!

Gluttony absorbs and sucks up all the arrows like a vacuum picking up trash.

The glutton gets more fat.

BOOM

A giant explosion engulfs the area.

Moments before back at the Pacific Mage Association Headquarters

Serenity Bishop is currently in charge.

WHOOSH 

The doors slide open. 

A male walks in with hazel eyes, a long brown side comb hairstyle, a white undershirt, a black coat with a collar, and half a bow. 

"Lieutenant Miyamoto you have arrived," Serenity says.

Squad 8 Lieutenant Kento Miyamoto.

"Yes, how are Captains doing right now? Well, Captain Kihara and Captain Nagasawa are currently facing a Demon Lord.

"Demon Lord?! Wow hopefully they'll be alright" Kento raises his concerns.

Whoosh

The door opens again.

This time a girl with white hair, twin pigtails, earrings, bangs that cover her forehead, and a white kimono dress with a familiar flower pattern steps in. 

Lieutenant of Squad 5 Yuki Amasawa 

"They'll be fine. Miyamoto as long as my cousin is present." Yuki says.

"Alright you two just have to"

BOOM

"What happened?" Yuki asks. 

"It appears Captain Kihara has been hit" Serenity responds.

"No he'll be fine knowing the Captain even when he faces a tough opponent he won't be defeated that easy," Kento says reassuring the group but with slight concern.

CLASH

Sho again appears this item with dual-bladed daggers as it connects with Gluttony's skin.

"What the hell" Sho surprised by the thickness of the demon lord's skin.

"Melee now," Gluttony asks.

"It's nice to change it up a notch" Sho responds. 

Sho takes on a stance before beginning his attack.

The captain of squad 8 shows off his speed and agility with swift attacks at the limbs of the demon lord.

Sho tries to parry and avoid the chomp's attacks. 

Sho creates a distance as he leaps back.

Sho shoots multiple arrows again.

"Back to arrows," Gluttony says to himself. 

FLASH

The arrows create a bright light that blinds the demon lord.

SLASH

Gluttony was surprised by the blade that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. 

A floral pattern kimono emerges. Itsuki Nagasawa appears before the Demon Lord once again stepping out of the ripple in space.

"You," Gluttony says. 

"What you were fighting for the last few minutes was a mere illusion or a mirage. An optical illusion." Itsuki says with her vibrant color blade in her hands. 

VOOM

"You seem like a tough opponent. Magic absorption. Durable body. Fast for your size. An ability that can cancel out magic" Sho says reappearing behind Gluttony. 

"This is not probably the extent of your abilities right Demon Lord?" Itsuki asks.

Gluttony remains silent for a moment. 

"No this is just the tip of the iceberg" He responds. 

"Oh, it's the same as well for us"Itsuki remarks. 

"Perhaps it's time for the real battle to begin?" Sho asks.

"Yes," Itsuki responds as she caresses her blade. 

The two ready themselves.

Gluttony is about to launch an attack but he stops mid-move.

"Hmm. Well looks like we shall do this another time." As he turns and walks away a shadow portal opens in front of him.

"What you retreating?" Itsuki asks. 

"Come back here" Sho demands. 

With his back towards them "Don't worry Mage we'll fight again soon but this time for the Crystal of Life".

The Demon Lord disappears.

The two Captains stand as the wind blows.

"Uh a little help please"

"Oh that's right," Sho says. 

"My apologies Captain Kaneda," Itsuki says in a respectful manner.

"It's fine. Cough Cough." Kaneda smiles as he coughs up a little blud.

"Uh" Sho remarks as he lifts the injured Captain on his shoulders. 

BZ

BZZ

"Captain good job in making the enemy retreat." Serenity says. 

"Yeah for now," Sho says.

"It's a win for today but we must keep our guards up. The crystal of life is still out there" Itsuki reminds them. 

"How are the Lieutenants?" Sho asks. 

Both Lieutenant's get close to Serenity. 

"You did good Captain you didn't even show him your true skills," Kento says.

SHOVE

"Cousin you had him fooled the whole time. Now you know some of his moves now" Yuki says. 

"It seems the Head Captain is also done getting in touch with her briefly. In the meantime you two rendezvous with everyone else at the palace." Serenity says.
