"President's Wife Ran Away" is your typical "president-CEO" book, in which the heartless CEO develops feelings for the helpless sectary. These days, the majority of novels fall into this genre, with the protagonist serving as the book's most wanted man.

The readers would still root for the CEO despite his domineering behaviour, even if it meant torturing the female protagonist. Overhead, there is a craze for this sort of man.

Our protagonist, Gong Bingyan, is a girl from a patriarchal family; neither of her parents loved her, and her patriarchal father loved her brother more than anything else. Despite being the protagonist, she endured a lifetime of rejection. Bingyan was never able to attend school because her parents sent her brother to the country's most famous academy with the money that was set aside for her education. Her lack of a degree forced her to work low-paying jobs in a variety of fields.

Bingyan would often end up with nothing because her parents would use the money to pay for her brother's schooling. The Han group, the largest company in the country, hired her as their secretary despite the fact that she lacked a degree. This was not a matter of chance, but rather an opportunity bestowed by Han Lun, the CEO.

Lun fell in love with the poor girl by stalking her. Oh uhmm you could call it him tailing her ever since he witnessed her rescuing a cat from a car crash. The only thing missing from Lun's life from the beginning was a kind-hearted woman like Bingyan. He had only ever encountered deceitful women who were attracted to him because of his attractiveness or wealth. As soon as the CEO took an interest in Bingyan, he started following her around in his flashy car on a daily basis,till he fell in love, he simply, tried to reduce her suffering by employing her and also by keeping her close, he could reach the heart of his woman.

She started working for him, he started taking care of her as if she were a Queen, and she felt surprised, and shocked but was happy. They got together and went through many hardships but had a happy end.

However, this is the least of importance to me,  I am not here for this crappy nonsense love of theirs. I am here for my love, Lee Yi, the villain of this novel.

Lee Yi, the most prestige man alongside Han Lun, if the Han group was first then the Lee group would be the second. Just like that, the villain was also considered by many the second male lead at times because he was also in love, no, he fell in love with Bingyan.

Lee Yi was an illegitimate child of the Yi family's second son, unlike Lun who was the only heir, Yi had to fight lots of siblings to get the position of CEO, to get power in the family and company. His father was already married and had 3 children when he got his mother pregnant. While his father's wife was from a prestigious family, his mom was only an artist and an actress who captivated his father, which led to an affair. Not only that, but the family head, his grandfather did not approve of Yi, his childbirth was a shame for the Lee family.

The villain had to fight against the evil schemes of his siblings and cousins to be able to survive in that house, even though he was illegitimate, his father was still considerate to let him live with his family after his mother died when working at a movie set, leaving the poor boy alone in the world.

His stepmother tried to poison him, but he survived. He tried to be loved by his siblings but they hated him and bullied him, many times he didn't have food to eat, and they tormented him for not giving him food. He wore old clothes as no one cared for him, and he ate the leftovers after starving for days when they finally showed mercy. His father who brought him to the house, the one who gave his sperm for him to form, ignored this treatment of his, his sufferings were ignored by all.

Even the rest of the members of the family knew of his situation and how he was treated but why would anyone waste time on an illegitimate child of the second brother? He was not allowed to go to school until he was 13, till he was at home, used as a servant.

He went to school late, had to pay his fees by working a part-time job, and had to catch up to the study that he missed for so many years. Everyone laughed at him, how he would fail and soon save the money spent on his education, his siblings, his uncle and aunts....

Yet, no one knew that he was a genius, even when he was behind, he ranked first, and was best at school, even after all the torture his shine didn't dime away. The moment he started to glow, his grandfather noticed it, out of all his grandchildren, only he stood out the most. Intelligent, handsome and a genius, words were less to describe him.

He harboured all the hate in his heart, waiting for his revenge. He planned it all, when to shine out and when to hide. The moment, none of his cousins were achieving great success, he decided to show himself and his intelligence. The moment he decided to give up on receiving love from this family, he decided to take revenge for all the suffering he had to go through. With that, the grandfather chose him as the future heir and supported him throughout the fight for the position among the siblings. As of that, he won the race, removing all obstacles from his way.

He became the youngest family head at the age of 21, removed his stepmother and his siblings, killed the rest of his cousins and placed in father in a mental asylum. Rose the Lee group to a height, where it was comparable to the Ham Group. His company became the top-listed company, with a young CEO of just 25 years old.

If Han Lun got his position because of his birth and his diamond spoon, Lee Yi earned the position and the place in the world, as the most wanted bachelor, coming second just to Han Lun. If there was no Han Lun, Lee Yi would be the protagonist. However, he made one mistake which led to his death, falling in love with Bingyan. Bingyan, the sweetly naive female lead didn't know that 'actions can lead to a reaction'.

Bingyan, being the kind soul approached Lee Yi, for whatever reason. The annual party, held by the Han group invited Lee Yi as well due to the reason that the rivalry between the companies caused lots of tension over the years however they were finally going to be at peace, this party was arranged for the peace of the two large companies. However, the female lead who had a fight with the male lead, had an encounter with Lee Yi.

Bingyan fell on Yi, as of course the evil villainess, the fiance of the male lead, had to be a part of it. She caused the heroine to fall, leading to the encounter of the villain with the saint heroine. This led to another thing, their becoming friends as the villain felt sympathetic to Bingyan as he was also bullied in his childhood.

The biggest reason, he fell in love was because he felt that Bingyan was similar to the past him, he felt a duty to protect her at least, unlike him, who had no one. This protective feeling led to one thing which led to love. He fell in love and? He wanted her at all costs, all his life, he had nothing, no one and now that he had someone, he wanted her by all means. The villain, due to his terrible childhood, was lovesick and a psycho for the heroine, Bingyan. He wanted nothing but her, he was ready to change for her, even give up his company, and his hard work to Han Lun in exchange for letting Bingyan go.

Even Han Lun agreed however Bingyan didn't, she only loved her crazy CEO and refused the villain. This way, when Lee Yi was at a loss, Han Lun took his company and even Bingyan, leaving him with nothing.

For a self-made man, his company was everything he had but after Bingyan in his life, she was everything he wanted. Even after the loss of his company, he didn't give up. He tried to talk to Bingyan but she ignored him. The more she treated him like this, the more he felt like he was going crazy. At last, he reached his limit, he kidnapped her on the day of her wedding to Han Lun.

Han Lun quickly found Bingyan with the help of his connections, he freed her away and was ready to streak Lee Yi.

The Scene where Han Lun came to save Bingyan from Lee Yi,

As Han Lun got Binygan freed from the restraints, Lee Yi stood at the other end. This time, Han Lun also got weapons.

"Lee Yi, don't come any closer or my guards will shoot you".

All guns were pointed at Lee Yi, nonetheless, he still walked forward.

Han Lun hissed as he was ready to command his men to shoot when Bingyan shook her head, and he stopped.

"Yi Yi, why are you doing this? I know you are not like this! I know there is still kindness in you!",

Bingyan screamed as tears trickled down her doe eyes.

Lee Yi chuckled at that, " Bingyan, you who gave me meaning in life, if not mine, then there is no meaning for me, you would not understand but my love will always be for you, in this life, in next and in forever."

Bingyan's eyes widened as Lee Yi took out a gun and pointed at his head, "If you are not mine, I have no meaning in life, without you.. I am nothing, goodbye Bingyan, my Bi Bi".

Bingyan screamed, 'No', as a gunshot rang in the air and Lee Yi's body went lump. Blood flowed out of his head as tears ran down his eyes, his life finally ended after so much suffering..... His love was too much to bear for the female lead, as it was best for him to die... forever gone... and Han Lun and Gong Bingyan lived happily ever after. The end.

I finished the book as I sighed. The male villain is too poor in life, dreadful childhood and a cruel fate at the end. This is too much, for the author to make such fate for the Villain! However, now that I am here everything's going to be alright!

I pushed the book to the side as I opened a tab to look at my stats a I floated in the white space.
