Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Chapter 34 - Suicide

"How can I be sure that you didn't find a way to fake..... that ….. that night?" Ed asked, lacking confidence.

"You were not drunk, you were sober all through the night, I'm sure you would have noticed" she replied wiping the tears on her face.

"I swear, I never had anything more to do with them. Please. Believe me." She sat up and walked towards him.

"You are the only one for me. The only one… I have ever given myself to." She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest.

He forcefully pried her arms from him and pushed her away.

"Get out!" he snapped, pointing at the door.

"What?!" shocked, she tried to embrace him again but he pushed her away.

"I said…GET OUT." He sent a flower pot flying. She flinched when a piece of the pot flew and scratched her hand.

Looking down at the scratch on her hands she knew she had to do something, something extreme that'll force him to believe her.
