A few weeks after...
In her office sat a ragging tiger ready to tear her prey limb by limb. Stacks of papers were neatly place on Luna's desk all connected to one topic, Rafael's incompetence, thievery, and disloyalty. All the information Luna needed for her plans to start working. Because you see, if Lilian was a bimbo seeking people's attention, Rafael goes down under— like a mole in the system.
You'll never suspect him, too bad his innocent facade is not going work on a private investigator who was paid highly to do his job. Lets just say that money can truly make people sing and dance.
Luna could turn him over to authorities but wheres the fun in that? Luna would just let Rafael dig his grave further to the ground that he wouldn't be able to escape his own wrong doing. Just like a game master on a game board.
"Bring them in," and with that said 2 burly men entered the office. All sweating bullets.
"Do you know why I asked you guys to be here?" Luna smiled making the men sitting across her to jump a little. One of the two men is Rafael's distant cousin, who also is the manager of the bar that Luna got drugged at. Right beside him was the bartender who spiked her drinks.
"N-no... I don't know-w..." Casmir stammered.
"Really, you don't know? You don't know?!" Luna's hands bang on the desk. The sunlight from the glass windows shinning brightly as Luna's voice raised making the men in front of her to cover their ears, while the air conditioner could do nothing to cool the situation down. Across the table Luna grabbed Casmir's face making him look her in the eye. "If you keep on trying to forget, just tell me. And I'll make you remember, you nitwit," with that she harshly lets go of his face making the man tumble back a bit. Fear striking his system making him want to run for the hills. Luna's hand leaving a visible imprint on the man's skin.
Seeing the scene before him the bartender drops to his knees and profusely begs for forgiveness. Making Luna laugh and Casmir to kick him to shut up.
Casmir was truly regretting helping his cousin on his "girlfriend problem". The plan was simple, spike the drink then let the guy in the room do his job. He knew what he did was wrong but he had already dug his hole, he would just have to live with it. He didn't kill the girl so no harm was done in all honesty.
Seeing no remorse from Casmir, Luna grins. Looks like syndicates do run through the family. Casmir's poker face and attitude was the straw that broke the camel's back.
"Take him home," she instructs Dimitri. But not before adding, "I'll be watching you...if I were you, I wouldn't feel too comfy in my own house." and winking to him.
Fear creeping to his heart much more than before, Casmir tries to make a run for it, sadly Dimitri was the star student from his academy.
Screaming and trashing Casmir was hopelessly escorted home without a chance to seek help from others.
Facing the bartender, Luna crouches to his level and looks him in the eye. "What you did was wrong but I'll let you go for now. Take your family and live a simply life in the province, if you like. Take this exile-like punishment as time to rethink your life choices. You daughter is very young, I'm sure she misses you greatly. Give her the future she deserves. Educate her well and give her your time and care. I know your wife is sick and the bill is growing so I'll be happy to cover it. It's better to spend your money on actual necessities and never do anything illegal again just to earn money, okay?"
The ‘Two Men’ will be chopped into 3 parts. So if you find the chapter short it’s because it is.
