Fake Girlfriend

Elaine's POV:

(Earlier)

"I guess I should follow Janna, after all. She looks pale earlier so it's probably better if I'll go with her."

"Then, I should go with you"

"No, Janna probably doesn't want to bother the two of us so it's better if only one of us will follow her. Just continue eating here and I'll go. We'll be fine."

"Ok, I understand!"

(Present)

*Bell rings

What? Sophia and Janna really took their time in the comfort room, huh? The bell already rang and they're still not back. Or maybe, they're already at the classroom. I guess we should proceed to the classroom now.

"Let's not wait for the two of them and go already. I guess they're already at the classroom." I invited everyone.

"You're right. We should go then." Kristoffer agreed while the others nodded.

(At the classroom)

They're not yet here. All of us are already here aside from the two of them, Bill, and the two new students.

"Ugh!" The sliding door was opened by Stephanie who looks like in a bad mood.

What's up with her?

"Stephanie, that's enough. We're already at the classroom." Kimberly was trying to stop Stephanie from making a ruckus.

"Shut up!"

Seriously? She's even treating her friend harshly... What a brat.

Not too long, Sophia, together with Elaine and Bill also arrived at the classroom. Why is Bill with them? It's impossible to bump into him in the Girls' Comfort Room since he's technically a guy.

And what's with Sophia acting so happy? Did something good happen?

Sophia's POV:

Oh my gosh! I can't help but smile! I'm glad for Janna that she actually found her true love. I didn't know that she and Bill are a 'thing'. But what about Eric? Does Eric already know about it?

"Sophia, why are you smiling? Did something good happen earlier when you're out?" Prince asked me so suddenly.

"Hihihi... Nope, nothing! Is it wrong for me to smile helplessly?"

"Maybe, it's not. But, you look like a crazy pervert right now." Prince teased me.

"Hey, that's so mean! Are you really my friend?"

"Hahaha, I'm also wondering. I think I am already regretting why I became friends with you! Hahaha!" Prince continued to make fun of me.

"Hey, Ma'am Cortez is already here." John interrupted our conversation.

"Tsk. What a nuisance." Prince whispered.

"???"

What does he mean by that? Is he talking about John? Well, whatever. I don't think he really mean that.

Ma'am Cortez entered our classroom and started to lecture. An hour passed and the class ended smoothly.

Elaine's POV:

(Lunch Time)

Sophia and Kristoffer have a meeting in the Student Council Office today so they're not here with us. Therefore, I am currently eating here at the canteen with Janna, Gilbert, John, and...

Bill? What the heck?! Is he even close enough to any of us for him to eat here at our table?

"Ummm... So... Bill? I'm not being rude here but ummm.. How do I say this... I hope you won't get offended by this but what are you doing here?"

"Please let him eat with us, Elaine. We're currently having some 'acting' together. So can all of you please cooperate with us?"

"Acting? What do you mean by that?"

"I'll explain it later. There are many people that can here us here so it's not good to say about it right now. And I'd like to explain all of these when Sophia and Kristoffer are also here."

"O... K? Fine, then."

After a few hours, the time to go home and as expected, even Bill is also with us.

Sophia's POV:

Ooohhhh... Bill is going home with us today. He and Janna must really like each other.

"Let's be real now. What are the two of you planning?" Elaine abruptly cut off the silence in our group.

"Planning? What are you talking about, Elaine? Oh! By any chance, have you already told all of them about you going out with Bill, Janna?"

"What did you say Sophia?! But, it's Eric that confessed to Janna recently, right? Why is Bill the one you're pairing with Janna right now?" Kristoffer asked surprisedly.

"Wait... Is that right, Janna?" Elaine also asked with a startled face.

"Should we go to the small park for the meantime? There are many students passing by here and it's not good if someone hears our conversation." Janna proposed.

Gee... Janna really want to explain everything about their relationship to the place where they officially became in a relationship. How romantic!

"Ok! No problem!"

(At the Garden)

"So? Is it true that you and Bill are going out?" Elaine initiated the conversation.

"Yeah... For now, I guess?"

"What do you mean 'For now'? But I clearly heard your acceptance of Bill's confession earlier."

"There's a long story to that. But in short, we're pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend. So I'm asking that no one will ever tell other people about this secret."

"What?! Then all of the things that I've heard earlier was a fake?! What a disappointment..."

"Hey, stop that grumbling of yours Sophia! It's not good to tell that in our current situation right now."

"Ok, ok... Stop that now Sophia and Elaine. Let Janna and Bill explain everything first." Kristoffer served as the referee this time between Elaine and me.

"I'm really sorry to bother all of you with my trivial matters. It's just temporary until Stephanie stopped pestering me." Bill started explaining all of a sudden.

"Stephanie? Do you mean the new student?" John also started asking.

"Yeah... Actually the three of us were childhood friends and we used to be close to each other until Stephanie started to become obsessed with me and tried to prevent me from having interactions with our classmates especially to girls. That's the reason why I chose to study here in the neigboring city. To get away from them but they still managed to find and follow me. I'm not surprised though, considering her father's power."

"Somehow I can understand the gist of it now. So that's the reason why the two of you are now pretending to be 'in love'? To make Stephanie give up on you?" I asked.

"That's right."

"I see. But won't it be hard to maintain your 'couple' image everytime? It's also dangerous since it may also be just a matter of time until that childhood friend of yours started to suspect your true relationship." Gilbert also gave his opinions about it.

Well, I didn't expect that Gilbert will try to speak his mind out during these circumstances.

"Not to mention, the rumors about Janna and Eric just subsided so it won't be good to Janna's reputation if another rumor about her being in a relationship with you will start so sudden." John added.

"No, about that... It's fine to me. I already considered that fact in mind before and I don't see that as an enough reason to refuse helping our classmate in need. I want to be of help to someone as much as I can." Janna said unyieldingly.

"Ok, I understand. I won't ask anything further about your issues with the new students, Bill. If Janna is fine about it, then I have no say to this matter anymore. But I'm just hoping that you will be able to fix your matters as soon as possible, Bill. I don't want Janna to be endangered just because of your creepy stalkers. If anything happens to Janna, I won't forgive you, EVER." Elaine said menacingly.

"I understand. Thank you for your understanding. I owe all of you a favor. Just ask me if I can do anything for you."

"Then, please buy me a Strawberry Shortcake!" I said.

"Pardon?"

"Sophia!!" Elaine started to get mad at me again.

"Just kidding! There's no need to get so worked up about it."
