Tantalizing Opium

She headed to the bar in her devastated state and said to the bartender in a tired, broken voice, "Give me the strongest you have."

Because of the good contouring and blush on her face Lei Xinyi looked like she cried and was a delicate pitiful woman.

One look at her could draw sympathy from the coldest of hearts.

"I thought you said you don't drink alcohol." Lei Xinyi heard from beside her.

Looking beside her from her damp long lashes, Lei Xinyi saw the same man from before leaning on her side. Blinking Lei Xinyi let out her unshed tears from her red rimmed eyes and sniffed.

Looking at the floor a little embarrassed Lei Xinyi said in a low voice, "I…I have never drunk before… today I am too sad… sniff… I want to forget everything."

Saying that Lei Xinyi took a deep breath and wiped the tears on her cheeks, the man beside her was in a trance looking at the beauty in front of him.

At the same time the bartender served her drink.

The man beside her picked the glass of drink from above its head and as he was passing it to her Lei Xinyi saw some powder falling in the drink from his hand and smirked inwardly.

It was the oldest trick in the book… To trick her that also by a drug he would need to step up his game.

Lei Xinyi was a naturally pale woman with tinge of redness on her cheeks.

Her full lips were cherry red with her upper lip darker than the lower and she had the two most unique pair of eyes, grey orbs with speck of gold.

After the effective makeup Lei Xinyi looked even more fragile, that any man would want to soothe her worries.

Although Lei Xinyi was no white-rose vixen, she was more of tantalizing opium but she knew all the tricks to play with heart strings.

The man beside her stepped forward and brought his hand on Lei Xinyi's back to console her but as his hand touched her back Lei Xinyi squirmed away in fear.

Then looking embarrassed Lei Xinyi bit her lower lip and said while looking at the ground, "I.. I am sorry. I don't even know your name. I am a little uncomfortable around strangers."

She saw from the corner of her eye the man had pursed his lips, probably angry but that expression disappeared as it came and it was replaced by a gentlemanly smile.

"Right. Where are my manners?" Then he let out a laugh and said, "You can call me Xiaoming."

Lei Xinyi inwardly rolled her eyes. Such inexperienced man, no wonder he isn't getting anything tonight.

He didn't say his surname when he could have used a fake name with the surname to not seem suspicious. Such a pig-headed man!

'Xiaoming' saw Lei Xinyi wasn't touching the drink, "You aren't going to drink that? I mean you ordered to drink this, right?" He asked in an unbothered manner.

Lei Xinyi looked at the drugged drink and the man, who looked too much of a gentleman to cause any mischief on Earth.

"Yeah… I will just take it slow. I don't want to rush it and regret in the morning." Lei Xinyi said holding the glass in her hand.

As she took it close to her lip she pretended to take a sip but instead sniffed it to know what kind of drug it was.

Date rape drug… She snickered inwardly.

Totally expected, Lei Xinyi swayed the drink in her hand then placed it back on the desk and ordered the same drink for him too.

"So what are you sad about? Love life or family issues?" Xiaoming asked her pretending to be curious.

In fact he didn't give a d*mn what was up with her, the woman was curvy and hot with naivety and innocence dripping off her.

In short a woman that was perfect for any man, that could arise the protectiveness in any man. He himself had the urge to have the girl for himself.

Xiaoming saw the two resembling glasses side by side to each other. When the bartender placed the drink on the table he wasn't paying attention.

And because of the closeness of seats the drugged glass was already placed on the center and now both glasses were horizontally placed in front of them.

Xiaoming looked between the two glasses, the drugged glass should have powder around its inner walls but both the glasses were clear.

When Lei Xinyi had swayed the glass the drug powder was mixed in the drink.

He extended his hand to pick up the glass that was closer to Lei Xinyi but she interrupted him with a shy smile, "Sorry…But that's mine."

"Huh?! Oh! Thanks for letting me know." Xiaoming said with a relived voice and thought how dense the woman was to help him destroy her.

Lei Xinyi picked the glass in her hand, held the drink and contemplated for a few minute looking at it, then raised the glass toward him for a cheer up, then gulped down the whole content in one go.

Xiaoming also followed suit and gulped down all the glass then smirked in Lei Xinyi's direction.

He had done this before but he had never preyed on a girl this beautiful before.

He was from a well off family but he was not the successor nor was a talented prodigy so of course he wasn't given the privileges.

So his other brothers had always been the ideal men for girls but all thanks to Jiang Qinqin he was going to have his hands on this naïve astonishing beauty.

"Y…Yeah, just a little uncomfortable. I can't be drunk, right? I only took one shot." Lei Xinyi said while holding her forehead.

"Well maybe because it's your first time drinking and you are not that good at holding your drinks. I am sure after a little rest you will be Okay." Xiaoming said that and led her away.

"I will help you book a room in this hotel so you can rest then leave." Xiaoming said that taking her toward the counter.

Lei Xinyi stumbled and was about to fall when Xiaoming held her by her arm to steady her and reached the hotel lobby reception with hurried steps.

He had to make it fast otherwise if she start showing signs there is a chance anybody might get suspicious.

The drug wasn't that fast to effect but seems like as this girl has never had alcohol so she has low tolerance therefore she is feeling the effects.

Such an innocent and naïve creature she was, even thinking about that he himself felt aroused. Just what he was going to do to her…
