THIRTY SIX

ALPHA MARTEL'S MEETING ROOM..............

The Alpha, the Luna, and the seer were all shocked at the way Jason yelled and left the room. They watched as Jason dragged Selena out with widened eyes and mouths hanging open, short for words...........

"Eherm...So seer Jackson, you were talking about some prophesy, how come I don't know about this" Alpha Martel questioned shocked.

"Yes, exactly, Jackson, we are supposed to know about this prophesy" The Luna added.

"Well, all I can say for now is that the moon goddess did not want any one to know about this yet for some reason, I for one am just seeing this prophesy, I had no idea. However, the moon goddess must have shown it to the chosen one already" Jackson said.

"And about this chosen one of a thing, what does it really mean? Although, I have heard some myths on the past chosen one, Crescent, but I never knew that history would repeat itself and there would be another chosen one, this time, Selena. And about the war, I recall in the stories we were being told that there was also a war during the reign of the past chosen one, but she was killed by her mate to stop the darkness that consumed her from destroying the enter supernatural realm" The Alpha narrated shortly.

"Wait, does that mean that......."

"Exactly, that's what I've been trying to tell you, Selena will have to die in the hands of her mate just as Crescent died in the hands of her mate, Jordan. Very soon, the whole supernatural realm will be taken over by the possessor of the black sorcery and only, only the chosen one is prophesied to bring peace to the realm but at a very high price, her life, and sadly, there's nothing we can do about it, except the moon goddess has a change of heart." The seer explained.

"Oh dear Selena, It's a pity that she's the one with such a faith, our son will be so lonely, it might drive him insane.....what are we gonna do" The Luna said with tears brimming in her eyes.

"It's okay my queen, calm do....." 

"Wait, seer, if we could some how remove the darkness in her, will it change any thing" The Luna asked impatiently.

"That's right, it might actually work, what do you say, Seer Jackson" The alpha turned with lightning speed towards the seer, looking at him hopefully.

"To be frank and sincere Alpha, I don't know, I really don't know........"

"HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU DON'T KNOW, YOU ARE THE SEER RIGHT, THIS IS MY ONLY SON WE'RE TALKING ABOUT" The Luna screamed at the Seer who was in shock.

"My dear calm down, let the seer go back and inquire, maybe he'll find something, okay, calm down" The Alpha coaxed her.

".....Yeah, he'll find something, I'm sorry for yelling but please help me and my son here, I beg you" The Luna said walking towards Jackson almost going on her knees.

"Okay thank you Alpha, Luna, I'll on my way" The seer walked out of the door only to get outside and turn into dust, materializing out of the pack house.

"You know what, I feel so useless as a white witch right now, not able to anything for mY son" The Luna said feeling down.

"Cheer up honey, it's not your fault okay" The alpha said hugging her..........

BACK AT JASON'S ROOM

"Jason calm down". Selena said, watching as Jason paced back and forth in the room.

"CALM DOWN!!!!AFTER THE BULLSHIT THAT THE SEER OF A GUY JUST SPILLED" Jason yelled but calmed down seeing Selena's teary eyes.

"I'm so sorry for yelling at you, I was just so mad and I don't wanna loose you" Jason apologized.

"It's fine, I'm okay" Selena assured him.

"You're okay? Didn't just hear what the seer said....you know what, you don't seem scared of death or you have some kind of assurance that nothing's gonna happen? What's going on with you babe" Jason said in one breath.

"Jason, its not like that, the thing is, as painful as it is, I have accepted my faith, there's nothing I can do about it, so why bother" Selena explained.

"I don't believe that, I will do my best to make sure nothing happens to you, I wou....."

"Jason, just let it slide, besides, I have seen it all. Myself, holding a sword, my hair soaked in blood, my whole body practically leaking blood, my eyes completely purple as different dead bodies gather beneath me, purple mist ussing out of me. Every thing has been prophesied, so why don't we just enjoy our lives to the fullest and let faith take its place" Selena said remembering her dreams.

"You talk about this as though it's normal......."

"Because, it is" Selena interrupted.

"BECAUSE YOU DON'T SEE IT THE WAY DO, ALRIGHT, SHIT!!!!!" Jason yelled, half shifted as he jumped through the open window......

As soon as Jason left, Selena let the tears she's been holding for so long as she sobbed bitterly

"Why, moon goddess, why does it have to be me" She cried all through the night and eventually cried herself to sleep..............
