Atlas POV
After the Elf Sage saved Lucy and Kat, he returned my body back to me.
"Thank you Jonathan."
"That's no problem man. We gotta help each other."
Earlier after he introduced himself to me, I suddenly heard Lucy crying for help. I wanted to rush to her but Rowan stopped me.
"You are suppose to be in prison right now. If someone sees you then they might kill you on the spot." He gave me a strong warning. Even if he was right, I couldn't stand still while Lucy was screaming for help.
"I can help you." Jonathan suddenly offered to help. "How? You're a dead spirit right? How can you help?" That was my reaction. Even if he offered, he was a spirit. I haven't met a spirit that could still use magic.
That was when he disappeared and I felt my body stiffen. "I can control your body."

Back in the present
Jonathan gave me back my body. It felt weird being possessed and watching him use my body to do all that magic. I felt the mana flow and how he controlled it.
He flipped the switch. I suddenly felt my water magic turn to ice magic. My fire magic turned to explosion magic. I think I will have to practice it more once I return to the prison.
"Now, let me reintroduce myself to you Atlas. My name is Jonathan Lowen. I was reborn in this world with my memories from my past life."
"This is the first time I've met someone that told me they were from earth."
Jonathan laughed. "Of course man! It's not something you just randomly bring up. The only ones that know that I'm from a different world is Rowan, Theo and now you."
That's amazing actually. The only ones who know are literally Demi gods.
"But how are you here? From those elves earlier you've been dead for 10,000 years." *author's note. I put 50,000 years instead of 10,000 in the previous chapter. It's been fixed. The math wasn't mathing*
"I have a strong will I guess?" The elf spirit laughed again. He was a rather carefree person. Theo finally caught up to us.
"You two are back. That's good that you have no injuries. Did you tell Atlas your regret yet?!" Surprisingly, Theo smacked the back of Jonathan's head. He touched a spirit. I guess he really was a powerful Ancient God.
"Oi, you old man! I was getting to it!!" Theo held onto his cane as he walked back and sat down at a nearby bench. Jonathan faced me, it looked like he was going to confess something to me.
"I wish for you to accept your role as Sage and save my people. Well, I already know you will but I forced my spirit to stay here and see you with my own eyes."
Why does everyone always seem to know me? The way they speak is as if they are all familiar with me and my personality.
"Why were you so sure?" I really wish to know.
"Well I actually wasn't 100% sure that's why I stayed behind to see you. Now meeting you and seeing how much you cared for your friends over there, I know you will care for my people as well."
'Well I actually don't care about the elves, I'm just keeping my promise to him.'
"Well that's it for me. You should go talk to Theo for a bit. I can come to you wherever you are if you want to talk, I am a powerful spirit." He seemed proud of being powerful. Maybe he was a nerd loving out his dreams from his past life? A powerful main character that got his way?
"Alright, let me speak with Theo for a bit.

"So you came back boy. I was wondering if you would come speak to me again."
"Of course sir. I wanted to ask you something."
"Go on then, I will answer."
There they go again. Like they already expected this.
"Are you the only ancient god here? I read the stories about how all ancient gods disappeared years ago."
The old man smiles. He looks out into the distance, he looked as if he was reminiscing about something.
"I can answer that."
According to Theo, years and years ago before the ancient gods disappeared, there was a young Theo. Ancient gods were born from the believe of mortals. The vampires of this world believed there was a vampire god, so Theo was born. He worked hard for his people but one day the other ancient gods told him something that broke him.
"This world will end. Come with us to the next world."
The ancient gods were given a prophecy from someone called the Time Keeper. This person said that the world will end and the ancient gods couldn't do anything about it. This caused many of them to give up and loose hope. They decided to abandon the world and leave for a new one.
Theo was one of the few who refused to leave and stayed behind. However, his own world came crumbling down soon after. The Salem Witch Hunts also occurred in this world. Except the witches that were hunted down were actually vampires. The humans thought the vampire magic was witchcraft so mankind united and began hunting down all vampires.
Since Theo was a god, he could not intervene. He watched as his people were slaughtered. He heard their prayers and yet he couldn't do anything to save them. In less than 200 years, all vampires had been killed.
"Let me show you boy." Theo then unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt. That's when I see it. His chest was kind of transparent. He was fading away.
"This is what happens to an ancient god when they are forgotten. If it wasn't for the Time Keeper, I would have faded away a long time ago."
"Why would he do that though? Aren't you suffering?"
As Theo buttoned up his shirt, he spoke. "I am. But I had one final thing to do before I could pass on. I needed to give you my resurrection spell."
"Did the Time Keeper tell you this too?"
"He did tell me."
Who is this Time Keeper? Is he the one telling all these gods about me?
"Don't think about it to much. You will meet him when the time is right." Theo warned me not to think to much about it. I guess he's right.
"Now, you should go back. You can't be away from your prison for much longer. People will wonder where you could of been hiding."
Ah! I do need to go!
"Alright! I promise that I will complete what you have asked of me. I am expecting that resurrection spell as an award!" I waved goodbye to him as I ran back to where Ceto and the others were.

Third Person POV
"So in the end, we both didn't tell him anything." The Elf Sage Jonathan appeared by Theo as soon as Atlas was gone. He sat down next to him.
"Who said you could sit?!" Jonathan let out a loud laugh and patted Theo on the back.
"HAHAHA! You're still so energetic, screaming that loud. Now that he's gone you've decided to let it all out huh?"
It was at that moment that the air pressure around them changed. The aura that belonged to the two men began to destroy the area. The ground began to crack and it was spreading towards the frozen garden.
"Ok, enough playing around old man. Don't touch my wife's garden." Jonathan's chilling and murderous tone was very different from the goofy and joking tone he had earlier with Atlas.
Both men stopped their auras. Jonathan took a deep breath.
[Nature's Beauty]
He restored the cracked ground and frozen garden with just two words. This was his original spell he created to fix the war torn land after the peace treaty was signed.
"Jonathan, shouldn't you have told him that it was because of your friend Loki that your son has grown to hate humans?" He just shrugs.
"It's fine. The Time Keeper said that Atlas will be able to fix it. All we had to do was force it upon him. If we didn't then he would never do it. What about you? Shouldn't you tell him how you will teach him that spell? You should have at least mentioned the consequences of using the resurrection spell."
"I know. But the boy has to learn it on his own. Those are his consequences for asking an ancient god for help."
The two men sat in silence for a moment.
"Do you think it's true? What the Time Keeper said? Will your wife fall in love with that boy?" Theo asked Jonathan the question that has been on his mind.
Jonathan laughs. "Of course! He has been right about everything so far! Even those two children from earlier were saved just like he spoke of."
"I see. So you're okay with her moving on?"
"Of course! She should. She, Loki and my sons are the last high elves left. It's about time she moves on from me."
He was smiling through it but there was a gloomy cloud hanging above the two.
"Theo. I really hope Atlas can save everyone by stopping The End. If I have to sacrifice my idiot son and you sacrifice your life so Atlas can do it, then it's fine."
"Hm. I agree. It looks like I will be joining you in the afterlife soon my friend."
"Haha. I guess you're right."
The two men stood up and disappeared. Leaving to make sure that everything will go smoothly for Atlas.
