Chapter 8:- Frustration

Dr.Arvik Shah departs from the hospital and heads towards the Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden.

The Green Grass, the lush Bushes trimmed in different shapes, tall trees, water flowing through the fountains and the cold wind, acted like medicine on his wounded confused mind.

He tried to calm down, there are numerous questions running in his mind. He is unable to think clearly. He calls Dr.Manvi and tells her everything that Sister Bareen said.

Dr.Arvik Shah in frustration

"Tell me Manvi, how am I supposed to conclude it? If my parents would not have found me on that night, I would have died due to fever and starvation. How stonehearted my true parents were? Why did they even bring me into this world, if they had to leave me at the station to die? At one side there are Maa and Pithaji who loved me, an abandoned orphan more than their true heir Aadrika, whereas at another side are my true parents who abandoned their own child. Maa and Pithaji are no less then God to me. I miss them so much, I wish I could hug them and thank them for everything."

Dr.Manvi in a consoling manner: "You truly are lucky Shah. We will always be thankful to Maa and Pithaji for everything. But we don't know what problems you true parents had. If they wanted you to die, they would not have wrapped you in pashmina shawl and gave you a locket. Anyways did you get answers to all your questions?"

Dr.Arvik: "Yes, I got answers to most of the questions. I would have been happier if I would have met my true parents. But when Pithaji didn't find them after his persistent efforts, I doubt I could find them now. I just pray, let them be happy and thank God for giving me Maa and Pithaji. I'm booking my return tickets tomorrow. Meet you soon my Love!"

Dr.Manvi all of a sudden : "No, you are not coming back tomorrow. From our college days, you always wanted to go on a solo trip to Pahalgam. This is a wonderful opportunity, go and fulfill your dream. Just promise me, when you return I want my cheerful fiancé back, ok ?"

Dr.Arvik Shah feels blessed to have so caring and concerned people around him. He agrees to Manvi's words and decides to complete his college dream.

During dinner he thanks Dr.Gaurav for his help and support and informs him about his Pahalgam solo trip.

Dr.Gaurav is very happy for his friend and gives him the key of his bullet bike.

Dr.Arvik Shah drops Dr.Gaurav home after dinner and returns to his hotel.

After a long time Dr.Arvik Shah sleeps peacefully as most of his questions are answered. He is also very excited for his solo trip, to his dream place Pahalgam!
