Chapter 9:- Pahalgam

Early morning, Dr.Shah is already ready to start his journey to Pahalgam.

He wears his favourite winter tracksuit, cozy black biker jacket, warm gloves, hiking shoes and his signature driving glasses. Before he leaves the hotel, he memorizes the map of his travel. Dr.Shah is very quick in memorising things. He gets on the bullet bike and starts his drive.

For the first time Dr.Shah takes a different route then that of what he memorized. He realizes it when he sees the sacred Sharika Prabhat, the holy temple of goddess Sharika, the deity of Kashmir.

Confused Dr.Shah to himself, "This is strange! I usually never forget the map I memorize. Anyways, according to Maa it's always good to start a day with Gods blessings."

He pays respect to goddess Sharika in his mind and decides to visit the temple before departing to Delhi.

As Dr.Shah proceeds towards Pahalgam. He gets lost in the beauty of Kashmir.

Magnificent view! words truly can't define the beauty of Kashmir. Cold weather, clear sky, huge pine trees, green grass, crystal clear lake water. Flowing lakes on one side of the road, pine forests on the other, surrounding mountain ranges, mild sun, clear sky, a view worth witnessing.

He reaches Pahalgam town, has his breakfast and drives towards Baisaran valley. He parks his bullet at the parking area and starts his trek towards the view point. Trekking in between the tall winter trees, small and huge rocks, little streams, chirping birds made Dr.Shah forget all his tensions.

Enthralling view point! Dr.Shah sits on the ground covered with the blanket of green grass, surrounded by huge green mountains cloaked with gentle clouds, dense thick forest, cool whispering breeze and clear blue sky. The view vanished all the tension and stress in Dr.Shah's mind. Closing his eyes, he feels the cool breeze and the serene beauty of mother nature. He can feel the positive energy running in him. Mother nature is truly the best medicine.

After lunch Dr.Shah moves towards Aru Valley, the road to Aru valley is so elegant. Small beautiful villages, dense winter forests, huge mountains covered with snow, green environment, scenic meadows, elegant Lidder river. A view so divine, that can mesmerize anyone!

As Dr.Shah sits under a tree and witness the beauty of Aru Valley, he feels like home. The grass seems to be as comfortable as his couch, the breeze as gentle as mother's hand, the sweet voices of forest act as calming meditation music.

Dr.Shah's is submerged in the beauty of nature, as his mind submerges in the lake of calmness.
