The Partial Owner

A few days have passed and everything is going great. Aman and Mei Wei's relationship was also moving forward slowly. When Luo Li came into their house she slowly felt the romantic feelings between them and Mei Wei's eyes confirmed it all. But the problem was Mei Wei was too shy to admit his feelings and Aman…...she could not say anything about him. Aman was still oblivious to this. She thought that Aman was quite naive in these sorts of things. She knew about Aman's past too. She thought maybe that was why Aman was still not accepting Mei Wei's feelings.

Luo Li had settled comfortably in the house. She had also started to work on their plan to lure Mei Wang and his friends to get back into the country. She also contacted Mei Wang but she didn't tell him that she was staying in the Mei Mansion.

On the other side of the city, Mei Wang was frustrated to the core. That boy was getting better and better with each passing day in the prospect of business. If he kept this pace, it wouldn't be too long that he would take over the entire business and he would be left with nothing. Mei Wang did not want that.

It was not like Mei Wang was completely penniless. Mei Shao left a small branch of his company to Mei Wang but it was not as big as Mei Enterprises. Although his company was doing great all the credit goes to the great managing team provided by his father. But he wanted to obtain the Mei Perfumes. That was why he wanted to obtain the Mei enterprises at any price. He always believed that this company was originally going to be his which was stolen by Mei Wei. Thus, he only wanted to get back what belonged to him in the first place.

One day his secretary informed him that a business party wanted to talk to him. When Mei Wang spoke with them he got to know that the other party was a girl called Luo Li. The daughter of Luo Xi Ying. She was also the head of this collaboration project. Mei Wang was ecstatic with the fact that such a big company wanted to do business with him. If he succeeded in this deal he would become the owner of two large companies. First, is his own company and about second? He would take over the Mei Enterprises from the brat. He would!

Today Mei Wang was waiting in his house. He looked at the door impatiently. He was pretty excited for today. Today someone was coming. Someone very important to him. Someone who could help him to obtain the Mei mansion. If everything went well he would kick the brat out of the house tomorrow. 

This person was Arnold Palmer. An important person to Mei Enterprises and the perfume business. He was a man in his forties, he was not muscular but not too fat either. His hair was dyed black. 

Arnold Palmer was the personal and chief business lawyer of Mei Wei. He handled all the property of the Mei Family. He had been serving the Mei family for ten years.

When Mei Wang saw Arnold coming, his joyfulness could not be controlled. Mei Wang looked at Arnold and told him to sit down. 

Both of them had already finalized the terms of their deal over the days. Therefore without any casualties, he got to the point and asked Arnold, "Have you prepared all the papers?" 

Arnold was completely worried about this situation. But Mei Wang knew his secret and he did not want to get it out. Thus he agreed to Mei Wang's conditions. Arnold replied, "Yes sir, all the papers are prepared." He handed Mei Wang the papers, Mei Wang quickly scanned them but not thoroughly. Arnold spoke again, "If everything goes alright, at the end of the day Mei's mansion will be yours. But..... don't you think…... that cheating on your son for property…... is not good?"

Mei Wang angrily shouted, "What cheating? It's him who stole all of my inheritance first. And don't you dare to teach me morals? You are also the one who is betraying him for my money. And don't forget I have proof of you, forging documents and snatching poor people's land illegally." 

Arnold was anxious after hearing this, "No, no sir you are misunderstanding me. I will do as told but please don't share those proofs in public. I would be done completely then."

 Mei Wang answered, "Of course as long as you do my work correctly I will keep my mouth closed. Completely zip my mouth."

Arnold nodded without speaking anything. Both of them again summarised their plan. After that, Arnold took his leave and went towards the direction of the Mansion. 

~ In the evening, in Mei mansion ~

Mei Wei had just gotten back from the gym. After taking a shower he was reading some data from the company. His hair was still wet. But the data was important for the company and required his attention urgently. When Aman found him in that condition he walked towards him and said, "My prince what are you doing? At least dry your hair first lest you will catch a cold." 

"Too busy", Mei Wei answered absentmindedly. 

Aman huffed and grabbed the hair dryer. He stood behind Mei Wei and started blow-drying his hair while slowly combing his hair with his fingers. Mei Wei felt like he was in heaven. He thought that they were acting like a couple.

When Luo Li came over to talk to Aman about some matter and saw this scene. They looked great as a couple, she thought, 'I wonder when he is going to admit his feelings.' 

She knocked on the door. Both Aman and Mei Wei looked at her. She said, "Mei Wei, do you know some man named Arnold Palmer?"

Mei Wei answered, "Yes, he is the lawyer who handles our property matters. Why?"

Luo Li replied, "Oh! he is downstairs and he wants to meet you." 

Aman and Mei Wei looked at each other confusingly. Aman replied, "We will be there in a few minutes."

 Luo Li nodded and went downstairs.

After a few minutes, Aman and Mei Wei also went downstairs. He saw Arnold sitting on one of the sofas. Both of them sat in front of him. Mei Wei asked, "Mr. Palmer, how do I get the pleasure of your visit today?" 

Arnold replied, "Young master Wei, I am here because of a matter of your grandfather. He left that work for me. He was a very great man." 

"Indeed he was." Mei Wei agreed and then asked, "What is the matter?" 

Arnold started explaining, "Young master Wei, when your grandfather was alive he liked a piece of land very much, where he wanted to grow fragrant and medicinal herbs. But unfortunately at that time, the place was not on sale, thus he couldn't obtain it. But now, the owner wanted to sell the place. So I am here to ask if you want to purchase that piece of land."

Mei Wei said immediately, "Of course, Mr. Palmer. If it was my grandpa's wish to purchase the land, then you must buy it." 

Hearing this Arnold exclaimed, "Excellent! I knew you would say yes. So I already purchased the land on your behalf. You just have to sign the papers and the property will be yours."

"Aman please, hand me the pen", Mei Wei requested and signed the papers without even looking at them. 

Seeing this, Luo Li frowned and told him, "As a businesswoman, my advice for you is you should never sign the papers without reading them." 

Mei Wei just smiled. He waved his hand carelessly and said, "Relax sister Li, Mr. Palmer has been our lawyer for ten years. I can trust him completely." 

Arnold smiled and agreed loudly, "Of course. I have to go now." He shook Mei Wei's hand and left.

The next day, while they were having breakfast, Mei Wang barged into the house with the servants behind him carrying his stuff. He looked quite smug.

 Mei Wei got up from the dining table and walked over to where Mei Wang was standing, Aman and Luo Li followed behind.

 Mei Wei asked Mei Wang angrily, "What's the meaning of barging into my house like this? What do you want?" 

Mei Wang laughed, "Your house? For your information, I am the owner of this house." 

Mei Wei thought that Mei Wang might have lost his marbles and was speaking absurdities. He argued, "I think you have forgotten that Grandpa left this house to me."

 Mei Wang reclined and explained further, "Yeah, he did. But last night you transferred this house to me. You stupid kid!"

Mei Wei retorted, "I did not. Why would I do something crazy like that? You are just speaking rubbish. I seriously think you are getting crazy with your age."

Mei Wang, "Well, you did. Of course, you won't do something like that by yourself. But don't you remember you signed some papers yesterday without even reading them? Does that name Arnold Palmer ring a bell?"

When Mei Wei realised what Mei Wei was talking about. He could not control his rage. He did not want to believe it but looking at Mei Wang's face Mei Wei could tell that he was telling the truth. Mei Wei was furious, he said, "That piece of trash lawyer! He cheated on us. I will kill him. I will kill him right now."

Mei Wang laughed again, "Yeah, he did. I bought him with some money. That is why I like people like you who are so naïve, blindly trusting people." 

Aman who was still standing silently could not bear Mei Wang insulting Mei Wei. Aman argued with him, "It's not his fault that he is a good person. People like you and Mr. Palmer are the worst ones who break people's trust. Disgusting."

Mei Wang shouted, "Don't you dare lecture me, you servant boy. Not in my house now." 

Mei Wei shouted too, "Aman is not a servant and it's not your house. Get out."

Luo Li who was standing silent till now suddenly had an idea. Like other Ichadhari snakes, she too had a special gift, with it she could charm anyone she wanted. The person would do anything for him.

 She cleared her throat to get the attention. She looked at Mei Wang and said in a sweet voice that was pleasing to the ears, "Excuse me, Mr. Mei, can I take a look at the documents."

Mei Wang looked at where the voice was coming from. He was shocked to see such a beautiful girl. It felt like an arrow passed through his heart. He asked her, "Who...who are you?" 

Luo Li laughed a little and extended her hand, "My name is Luo Li. I am a guest in this house."

 Mei Wang shook her hand and questioned, "Luo Li? Aren't you the one whom I am collaborating with?"

 Luo Li smiled, "Yes I am. Though I am collaborating with your company, not you."

 Mei Wang laughed, "Yeah that is almost the same." He still didn't let go of Luo Li's hand.

Suddenly the atmosphere around them changed completely. It was clear that Luo Li's charm had worked, and now Mei Wang was trying to flirt with her. Luo Li asked again, "So Mr Mei can I have a look at the documents." Mei Wang nodded again and again. He didn't think why Luo Li was asking for this but handed her the documents.

 Luo Li scanned the documents, but nobody noticed when she snapped her fingers. She looked at Mei Wang and said, a worried look on her face, "These papers are right that you are the owner of this house. But I think you too haven't read the documents carefully. It does say that you are the owner but you are only the owner of 30%. Mei Wei is still the owner of the remaining 70%."

Mei Wang snatched the papers from her hands and quickly scanned through the documents. Mei Wang was shocked, sure enough, there was a clause that he was the only owner of 30% of this house. He was enraged. He clenched the documents tightly in his hands and walked outside the house angrily without looking at anyone. He was going to teach that lawyer a lesson.
