The warning to keep the mouth shut

Ito Hima has been having a good day so far. It was only her second week as the secretary of Advocate Arnold Palmer. He was a famous lawyer.

When she applied for the job she thought she could not get the job. After all, there were many more experienced candidates than her. But in the end, she was recruited for the job. She felt she was over the moon.

Her work environment was great. Although she had heard some strange and rather bizarre rumours about her boss. But she couldn't reject the offer of this amazing job because of some rumours, could she?

But there was still a lingering fear in her heart. Due to her previous boss.Whenever her previous boss lost a case the relatives of the accused would come and create a scene there. Accusing her previous boss of bribery and whatnot. At first, she did not believe that. But after she found that all of those accusations against her previous boss were true, she left the job. She would not work for an evil man than to not work at all. She even tried to file a case against him but lost because her boss was an influential person. 

 It was rumoured that her boss changed secretaries more often than usual. But she believed in herself. She felt that she would remain in this position for a long time. Becoming a secretary for a famous person was her dream after all. She looked at the wall in front dreamily.

Her boss was a good person according to her. He treated her quite nicely. Her pay was great even if she was a newbie. Each time she made a mistake Mister Palmer did never get angry at her silly mistakes. Even one time when she woke up late and reached the office late, she made a lame excuse to Mr. Palmer. He even bought that. She thought 'Can anyone have a great boss like her?'

Today She was sitting at the front desk doing her usual work when a man barged into the office.

He was tall and scary looking but what frightened her the most was that rage was plastered over the man's face.

 He was heading straight towards the boss' office. Angry at Mr Palmer. For a moment she felt relieved that this scary man was not angry at her. However, she quickly regained her senses. 

She thought for a moment and quickly realised what the man was going to do. She was not too shocked at this because, in her last office, the same thing happened a few times when she worked as a secretary there for a few months.  

People would come to accuse the lawyer of losing the case deliberately. And sometimes in the case of her previous boss, it was not far from the truth. She thought it was the same case here. However, it was the time of Mr. Palmer's rest. Therefore, she had to stop this man otherwise he would disturb her boss and the boss would scold her afterwards.

After coming to this conclusion, she ran in front of the man and said, "Stop! stop! where are you going, sir? You can't go there." 

Mei Wang shouted angrily, "Back off girl. I want to see the fool. Now." As he said this, he pushed Secretary Ito sideways.

Secretary Ito was helpless, she tried to stop him again, "Sir, you can't meet Mr Palmer without an appointment and it's his rest time now. You can meet him after you have an appointment."

Mei Wang looked at the girl, and spat, "Do I look like I care? Now! back of the girl. I am not in the mood to deal with you." However, Ito still tried to stop him.

Mei Wang was furious. His plan was completely ruined by that good-for-nothing lawyer. And now his secretary was not letting him see him, saying he was resting. 'He will rest in peace afterwards', he thought.

Mei Wang said coldly, "Listen here girl, do you know what happened to the last secretary who was working here? She was killed by your dear boss. And you know who hid her body?" Mei Wang pointed his finger at his chest and said, "It was me. The police still can't find her body. If you don't want that to happen to yourself, leave this office. NOW!!!"

Secretary Ito nodded. She couldn't believe she had fallen for a trap like this again. She quickly grabbed her bag and left the office without even taking a look back. She thought that God must have saved her because of her good deeds. When she thought about what happened to the previous secretary, her whole body started to shake. 

She even thought about calling the police but she knew that Arnold Palmer was a very big lawyer. He would come out of prison in no time and take revenge upon her. Moreover, she didn't have any proof. It was almost like the same situation she had with her previous boss.

Arnold's office was on the second floor of the building. Mei Wang quickly ran upstairs. When he saw Arnold's office door, Mei Wang pushed open the door and saw Arnold lying on the sofa and looking at his phone. He was so enraged to see him lying there leisurely but his fury reached another level when he heard Arnold say, "Ito come later. Now is my rest time."

Mei Wang strode near him and held him from his collar. He punched him and shouted, "You worthless pig, what have you done? I knew that you weren't a reliable person. After all, a person who couldn't stay loyal to a family whom he had served for 10 years how could he stay loyal to me?" While Mei Wang was saying this, he kept throwing punches at Arnold's gut and face. Blood was spraying out from his nose and mouth. Mei Wang then threw him on the ground.

Although Arnold was not weak, he couldn't compete in power with Mei Wang at all. Because Mei Wang always believed in fitness. When he fell to the ground, he coughed some blood and asked, "Mei Wang what are you talking about? What have I done?"

Mei Wang shouted, "You don't know? Who are you trying to fool? You made me the owner of only 30%. Did your loyalty awake again? You worthless piece of trash! I am going to kill you!!"

Arnold was dumbfounded, "No, no I didn't do anything like that. You are the sole owner of Mei mansion." Mei Wang stopped beating him and took out the documents.

Mei Wang threw the papers at his face and said, "Look for yourself." He kicked him again in the gut.

 When Arnold read the papers he was dumbfounded, he didn't know how it got there. He hasn't added it. But the truth was in front of him. There was that clause.

He started to plead, "Mei Wang..... Mr Mei.... please believe me. I didn't add it. I don't know how it got there. Please believe me. I didn't betray you."

Mei Wang snorted, "Plead as much you want. But I won't go soft on you. You have ruined my plan, I will ruin your life." Seeing Arnold's scared look, he continued speaking, "No, no I won't kill you. Why bother to dirty my hands, when the police can give you a severe punishment." 

Arnold started to cry and beg, he grabbed Mei Wang's leg but Mei Wang kicked him in the gut. When he reached the door he looked back and said, "And don't you dare to tell my name to the police, I have heard that your youngest passed the age of consent just a few months ago. I also heard that she is very beautiful. How good it would be to deflower her and then strangle her. I bet her small neck will snap with a little force." 

Arnold bowed his head in shame. He knew Mei Wang would do what he had said if he told the police about his involvement. He must keep his mouth shut. He pleaded again, "Please don't do anything to her. I won't tell anyone about your involvement. Please I beg you…."

Mei Wei looked at him coldly. Then he shut the door and went out. Arnold was experiencing the wrath of Karma. He sat there for hours and kept crying.

The next day when Ito Hima looked at the front page of the newspaper, she almost choked on her breakfast. There was a headline that said

'Famous lawyer Arnold Palmer got arrested because of raping and killing ex-secretary.'

When she read the news further she discovered that- One of the most famous lawyers in the city Mr. Palmer had been arrested. He had some very serious accusations against him. Mr. Aadi Berger-Ivanov and Mr. Vladimir Ivanov, who are investigating this matter, told our reporter, 'Arnold's previous secretary was missing for the last 3 weeks. But yesterday someone sent us the pictures of Arnold raping his secretary and killing her. The video was recorded on the same day on which the secretary went missing.'

 He further told our reporter that they have received other proof against him which shows him forging the documents and illegally acquiring land. But Mr. Arnold Palmer is refusing to say anything. They also couldn't find the person who sent these images to them. But the most strange thing is, it looked like Arnold got beaten up by someone but he is refusing to say anything and strangely or deliberately there aren't any CCTV cameras in the entire office. Thus they couldn't find any evidence Both the cops will investigate the matter further.

Seeing this Ito Hima remembered the man, who came to the office yesterday. She was sure that he was the one who had beaten Arnold. She thought about telling the police, but then she remembered the man's words, 'Do you know who hid her body? It was me. The police still can't find her body.' 

Remembering this her entire person shook, and she decided to keep this to herself. Her phone was already filled with calls and texts from her relatives. She shouldn't have boasted in front of her entire family that she was going to work for the famous lawyer, Arnold Palmer.

She sighed and picked up her phone, answering the calls and texts one by one.

When the people in Mei's mansion had read this, they felt that Arnold reaped what he had sown. There was no need to feel sorry for him. After all, it was because of him that Mei Wang became the co-owner of this house…..
