"Hora~? Why don't you just [steal from that group of people]?" Eon said to another group, using his balcony as shelter. "If you do that, maybe i'll [let you in]."

As if they were hypnotized, the group rashly acted out on their inner thoughts and attacked the other group of people. It was a bloody fight as the group that Eon had enticed only had their fists and bits of rubble.

Somehow, they won and came back. Their originally blank face turned back to normal, their eyes turned clearer.

"...What-?! What....have I done?!!" One man screamed as he clutched his head.

"Aww~ Why so down? Maybe if you [give the food] to me, then your guilt will lessen?" Eon enticed the group again, this time using their guilt. He also lowered down a basket, and once again used his power.

"Those people had a family, [you murderers]. [This is the only way to get rid of your guilt]." Eon pointed to the basket.

Once again they fell to Eon's words once again and put their spoils in the basket, as if to get rid of the guilt. One young girl broke down due to the guilt. After all, they had grown up with morals, thus making them the prime targets for Eon.

Since, that group had killed the other group, the other remaining survivors had stayed far away from them. They thought that Eon was arguing with them to get away, but their thoughts changed once they saw the lowered basket.

Their faces morphed into anger once they realized the man on the balcony seemed to be the culprit. In particular, one woman with red hair glared at Eon from the safety of a corner.

"Hm?" Eon brought up the basket and turned his head to a crumbling building. "...Could've sworn I saw something."

The lizard things were just the first wave of supernatural things to happen. After that, fist sized locust swarmed the city.

The survivors set their base up in the subways, as those were the only ways to avoid them. Eons was no exception, he could have locked himself in the apartment, but then his entertainment would be gone.

He also knew that the other survivors probably caught what was going on, so he put on a white Halloween mask that covered the top half of his face. Though uncomfortable, even he will get beaten if they find out who he is.

Packing up the rest of the food, and wearing clothes that he had purposely dirtied, he exited the house and sneaked off to the subway. Although Aphil had given him a title to help ward off monsters, she said 'smart' monsters. Eons didn't really think a locust would be smart, so he had to act this way.

When he arrived at the station, he quietly sneaked in and saw 2 big groups fighting. He stayed quietly to the side to watch.

"You scoundrels! This is daylight robbery!" A red haired woman shouted at the man standing in front of a convenience store.

"This isn't a robbery lady! We are the ones chosen by God to help this world!" He motioned for one of his subordinates to come forward.

"Feast your eyes, on our power!" He laughed as fire suddenly engulfed the subordinate, scaring the other survivors. The flames finally calmed down, and the subordinate was still unhurt and well.

"...We still don't need to hand over all of our rations! This is basically telling us to die!" The red haired lady grit her teeth.

"Hah, you still don't get it do you?! You don't have a choice." Suddenly, the man had a sort of gas surrounding him, causing others to cough and gag. Some couldn't even breath, it seemed the gas was poisonous. Luckily, Eon was still near the exit so he was still quite safe.

"Tch, you left me no choice!" The red haired lady pulled out a gun and shot the man right between his eyes. Screams immediately erupted as the remaining subordinates blindly started to use their abilities on the crowd.

More shots were heard as they dropped to the ground, with a bullet between their eyes as well. Even though they were saved, they still feared their lives as the red haired woman still had a gun, and they didn't know what she would do with it.

Eon sensed that this was an opportunity. He hurriedly ran up to the front an shouted at the crowd.

"[Calm down]! If we keep panicking, [everyone will die]!" This time, he didn't use as much power as he normally would do, so they didn't just blankly obey orders. His words just seemed to calm down the crowd alot.

Meanwhile, the red haired woman stared incredulously at Eon. It seems she realized Eon had a power related to crowd control.

The crowd finally calmed down enough for the red haired lady to speak. She thanked Eon silently with a nod and talked to the crowd.

"Don't worry, I promise on my life that I will not do anything unbeneficial to you guys during this period of time. These tyrants would have exploited the weak, and threatened our well being. So please, just trust me this once." It seems the red haired girl also had a talent of speaking as well.

Naomi was the red haired woman's name. Although she was weirded out by Eon's sketchy getup, she didn't question him as he saved her from a whole lot of trouble.

"Ah! Do you have a power Lex?" Naomi asked, Lex was Eon's alias since he didn't know if that man in his dream knew of him or his name.

"Me? Ummm, I don't think so..." Lex scratched his chin to think.

"You can tell easily if you have a power or not. Like you know how I used that gun?"

"Mhm?"

"That was the first time I used a gun."

"!!!" Naomi saw the shock on Lex's face and laughed. "Yeah I thought that too, I think it's something where I can easily lock onto targets. I think your power is related to your ability to convince crowds. Here, try to convince me I like coconut milk."

"U-Uhmmmm, you like coconut milk?" Eon pretended to be oblivious and do something else.

Lex 'noticed' a cut on Naomi's arm. "Are you okay?" He said with feigned concern.

"Hm? Oh yeah, it's just a small bruise. Nothing too bi-"

Before she could say anything else, Eon took Naomi's arm and tried to wrap it in cloth bandages he had gathered earlier. Just as Eon's pale hand touched near the wound, it began to rapidly heal before their very eyes.

"AHHHHH!" Lex jumped back in shock and saw that the cut on Naomi's arm was completely healed.

"....! Oh Lex! You DO have a power! Congratulations!" Naomi was overjoyed, they had a healer on their team now. This would save alot of trouble in the future. Though she was pretty sure Lex also had a crowd control ability, maybe he had two powers?

"W-Wow..." Lex stared at his hands and believed every word that Naomi had said. Naomi laughed at the boy's naivety.

"By the way, how old are you?" Naomi asked.

"...19." Lex said shyly. Eon clicked his tongue inside his mind, he had no idea of this body's identity so he just guessed.

"19?! Geez, are you a young master of a rich family or something?" Naomi laughed, she thought the boy was 16 or something.

"Well...." Seeing Lex's reaction, Naomi knew that it was probably something along the lines of that.

Naomi's heart softened. Growing up pampered, then all of a sudden experiencing an apocalypse like situation. This boy will surely get taken advantage of if he's left on his own...

"Heh, don't worry. This big sister will take care of you, haha!" She hugged Lex, making Lex blush.

"T-Thank you..." Lex blushed. In his mind however...yeah, let's not go there.
