Chapter 25: Trouble

"it's better for you to kill them immediately Taiga don't waste more time"

"Ah can't you just shut up for a while"

"Well if you won't I will kill them now"

"Hey wait"

Completely ignoring Taiga, Vade immediately rush towards Ray and his friends. He didn't want to waste more time on kids but what he didn't know is Ray is not an ordinary kid. Although Taiga is not around he is still scanning for enemy.

Ryo and Zed who got hit by Taiga, Finally recover their strength and regroup with Ray. Ray immediately told them that must be the elf bandit leader skill, It's hard to track because of the speed.

"Then what should we do Ray?"

"I'm still using my tracking skill"

"Woah just chill for now can you?"

"No I can't!"

Bell just want to calm Ray down but Ray shout at him, Suddenly Ryo come closer to Ray and punch him in the face. Zed and Bell shocked, But they can't do anything because of Ryo bloodlust.

"What are you doing Ryo!"

"What is your problem huh?, Can you just calm down for a minute?"

"But the enemy"

"Really? We just got hit once and it's not fatal and you're acting like you're our guardian? Stop joking can't you, We are not that weak, Calm down will you? Let's discuss this matter together, We are team now don't shoulder the burden for yourself"

"I'm sorry"

Tears drop from Ray's face he didn't realise he's not acting like himself, The punch that been delivered to his face finally wake him up. Ray finally calm down and they start to retreat for a while to discuss the strategy to fight the Elf bandit leader.

"He's fast and there's no doubt about it"

"So how can we defeat it?"

"Well I will use Tezz as a final choice if we are out of choice"

Ray never try to use Tezz power twice so he didn't know what will happen to his body if he try to use it one more time. So he will make that as a last resort. Ray start to explain their strategy, But Zed to use his skill for this plan to work. But Zed didn't had any second thought so he accepted Ray's strategy and try to execute it properly.

So their strategy is to just activate an invisible barrier around them and stick together, It's definitely impossible for them to catch up with his speed so they will try to rely on their reaction time. They only got one try if they fail, They need to use the last resort.

"Ok so we all set let's hunt them"

Ray finally get to his sense thanks to Ryo punch, But their joy moment won't last long because Vade are on his way towards them with an intent to kill them all. On his way towards Ray and his friends he already kill a lot of dwarf kingdom soldier. As he approaching Ray and his friends, Ray finally can feel someone is heading towards them with a massive bloodlust.

"Guys get ready someone is approaching us"

"What did he come back?"

"No Bell it's not the leader but his killing intent is pure must be a high ranking assassin"

"Then should I activate my barrier now?"

"No Zed just keep it for now we've got to deal with another threat"

As Vade approach his bloodlust getting stronger and stronger. Once Vade saw Ray and his friends he immediately charge towards them. Ray and the others scattered to give them chance to counter when available. But Vade choose Ray as his first target because he thought he can finish Ray with one strike.

But he underestimate Ray. He didn't know Ray has the skill of swordsman, Vade pull his dagger and strike Ray but Ray parry his attack and counter it. Vade retreat for a bit to give him some space but the others doesn't give any chance for Vade to rest. The moment Vade retreat from Ray, The others immediately strike him.

Magic arrow from Bell, Heavy strike from Ryo, Magic attack from Zed. They all attack simultaneously, It works although it only dealt less damage but it's enough to hurt their opponent.

"Looks like I underestimate you guys, Sorry for the late introduction my name is Vade advisor of the Elf bandit, Now die"

He charge again, But this time he aim for Bell long range enemy are hard to dealt, So he decide to go for Bell but Bell of course try to counter it by just shooting random magic arrow. It's completely useless against the assassin.

"You first"

Vade appear behind Bell and strike him but his strike got parried by Ryo and he immediately strike Vade but this time Ryo is also getting faster and faster. Vade somehow only barely dodge Ryo attack, It's hard for Vade to counter because Zed always attack him from the range.

"Shit I underestimate this kid, How pathetic"

Vade must find a way to escape this predicament or he will be in an unpleasant situation, After thinking deeply he need to use his trump card because there is no way to defeat this kids.

A strange skill but this is Vade trump card, During this time the enemy will see some afterimage of Vade. When they try to attack the afterimage Vade will appaear on his enemy back. The first target is Zed he see Vade afterimage and attack it but then Vade appear on Zed's back and immediately strike Zed.

Zed manage to dodge the fatal blow but still he got cut on his hand, Vade didn't even give Zed a chance to recover he immediately aim for Zed's neck next.

"Now die!"

Ray parry his attack, Vade didn't expect Ray is going to protect Zed. He try to retreat but Ray struck him with his sword and hit Vade's body.

"What the heck is that skill"

He never knew such skill exist his situation become more unpleasant, There is no way he can retreat from this kids and it's true the moment he try to retreat Ray will rush towards him and slash the heck out of him.

'I'm sorry Taiga you need to be careful with the zombie kid'

He really want to retreat and inform his leader but for now it's a matter of life and death. He will clash with Ray until one of them is dead. Ray request that this battle is between them and he prohibited anyone to step in.

"Let's end this Vade"
