Chapter 24: Strike!

While Ray and his friends chilling in the Dwarf kingdom, The Elf bandit has make a move to find Bell. It take some time to reach the Dwarf kingdom but as long as Ray and his friends didn't see this coming it will be easier for the elf bandit.

Some of the dwarf are good at fighting but not as good as other races, So they had to hire the other race to become their protector. So the dwarf kingdom choose werewolf. Werewolf are very good at fighting with a decent agility.

But it will cost a lot of gold, 1000 thousand gold per month although it seems expensive but it is an ideal price for hiring the other races as the protector of the kingdom. It's not a big deal for the kingdom that produce weapon and sell it on the other kingdom.

Although it might sound too cocky but it's true, Their income from selling weapon is far more great than the cost to hire other races.

"Ray, How can you fight the minotaur on equal foot?"

Then Tezz start to take control over Ray's body and speak with bell, Tezz told everything about himself and what Ray can do in the future although Ray can be short temper. Bell can't believe Ray have such strength, But that's not all.

It's already dark, The elf bandit already arrive not too far from Dwarf kingdom. They can't rush it because the werewolf are on the guard. So they must lure the werewolf to the open space and kill them.

Of course the elf bandit leader, Order his subordinate to lure the werewolf away from the entrance. One of his subordinte intentionally approach the werewolf guard. The guard ask him what business the guy have on Dwarf kingdom.

Their head got chopped in an instant, The elf also specialize in assassination and close combat so they had an advantage when it comes to stealth kill or close combat. Too bad the elf bandit already prepare for the all out war with the dwarf kingdom.

They even send the long range squad, Long range squad also specialize in stealth kill. So their plan is to kill all of the guard without raising the alarm, After kiling the werewolf guards they immediately invade the Dwarf kingdom.

"Hahaha, This is going smooth as I expected soon we will find that kid"

On Ray side, They all feel something is wrong, The guards is too quiet. So finally Ray and his friends have sense something is not right, Ray immediately order Ryo to inform the king about this matter, Bell will ring the emergency bell and Zed will guard the blacksmith with Ray.

"Zed we should stay here and make sure you wear your hood I think they must come for Bell"

"Understood"

Fortunately, Ryo and Bell and Ryo managed to reach their location without getting discover by the elf bandit. Bell immediately ring the bell to inform all of the people on dwarf kingdom that they have been attack.

Ryo who reach the throne beg to the guard to meet the king, But the guard didn't let him in because the guard thought Ryo is joking. Ryo even shout at the entrance to inform the king that his kingdom has been attack. Good thing the bell also ring as Ryo inform the king.

Meanwhile on the blacksmith, The elf bandit already reach there, They have kill a lot of assassin. It's hard to kill an assassin because they're very agile. But they manage to kill somehow. The elf bandit leader also notice that his subordinate is getting kill by someone.

He immediately rush towards the people who have been killing his subordinates, Of course he also notice the bell has ring, So he has no choice but to join them. Ryo and Bell also immediately go back to where Ray and Zed are.

On their way towards them, They also encounter the assassin and having a hard time dealing with the assassin. Fortunately they manage to reach Ray and Zed place but they already out of breath. Ray immediately told them to wear the hood to hide their because.

"Wear your hood the bandit is searching for Bell"

Without any question they wear their hood, After dealing with some assassin, The king also already order his soldier to kill the intruder. But it's a bit late for them because the damage has been done and too many casualties.

As Ray and his friends busy dealing with the bandit, The elf bandit leader appear, But it seems Ray and his friends didn't notice his presence, Although he already appear.

Bell and Ray immediately stick together, They now the enemy is invisible and Ray try use tracking but it's hard to detect because he's too fast so they can only defend themselves.
