Chapter 14: Getting Ready

After the incident with Chief Zect was over, They come back home safe and sound and for Chief Zect he's fine he just got a few scratches from the fight with Vale the vampire king right hand man.

But Ray has witnessed an epic fight between chief and the right hand man. He still remember how Zark swings the dagger without any problem. Ray want to master that dagger so badly.

He even ask his father, but his father only know how to wield a sword,

"Are you interested in dagger?"

"Yes father I saw the vampire king right hand man wield it without a problem"

"I see unfortunately, I can only wield a sword, If you want to talk about mastery I've master some skill you know."

Ray can only smile, But deep in his heart he also want to try some sword skill just in case he end up in a bad situation.

"In that case can you teach me how to wield a sword?"

"Huh? But why?"

"Just in case I lost my dagger, I can will something right?"

His father sigh, But he will teach everything he knows about sword to his son, He also teach Ray some hand-to-hand combat. So it's okay to teach Ray some of his sword technique.

"Then let's go what are you waiting for? But for starter let's use a wooden sword"

His father create a wooden sword by using some kind of magic, When done he call Ray to the backyard for some basic training. So Ray nod and do a basic swing 500 times.

At first Ray was shocked, But he calm himself and start to do it. By evening he's already done, So it's time for the advance training.

"Now you've done with some basic training how about we continue for the advance one?"

Without any moment to waste Ray charge in with a speed and slash his father but his father evade his strike smoothly. His eye widen, the he tries again and again until he pass out.

It's already morning and Ray has wake up from his long sleep hour, He greet his father who is busy preparing a breakfast then he go to the bathroom for a shower.

Ray still embarrassed about last night training, He doesn't even talk with his father. But his father know, That his son just embarrassed and even tease Ray the last night incident.

Ray laugh and until his embarrassing moment disappear on his head. HIs father told him he will teach him when he got home after the academy. Ray nod and excuse himself and take off to the academy.

Upon reaching the academy, Ray saw Ryo and Zed waiting at the academy hall, Without any moment to spare he reach and greet them.

"What's up guys"

"Yo, Ray nothing special just the same old day"

Ryo replied, Zed seems want to reply but since Ryo took his chance, He decide to smile at Ray.

They engage in a conversation while walking to their class, Upon reaching the class, Ryo suddenly recall about the incident between Chief and the right hand man of vampire.

The last thing he remembered was being knocked out by someone, Ray and Zed look at each other and start to burst laughing. While Ryo doesn't know who and why he got knocked out.

Ray start to explain that Ryo wanted to help the Chief who was fighting with the right hand man of vampire. But he got knocked out by Fang, Ryo become more confuse and start to ask who is Fang.

"Well Fang and Lex are the Chief subordinate"

Ryo feel relieve that someone actually stopped him he eagerly wanted to help but as for him right now he can't even land a punch at the right hand man of vampire.

At the same time he also felt ashamed because he got carried away by his feelings, But it can't be help seeing the chief was fighting right hand man of vampire. Ray always thoughts, the right hand man was a cheater, But he was wrong.

The right hand man was a man with pride, He doesn't use a cheap trick to win but instead he fight like a true warrior, Full of pride.

"Alright class go back to yout seat"

Sir jack enter the class, Everyone started to going to their seats. Sir jack seems down because he know, Everyone will got boring when he start this topic.

"Alright class today you will learn about our country, Claude kingdom, So get ready for the explanation it may be longer then you expected."

Everyone is ready, They're ready to listen Sir Jack feel relieve after watching the student he pretty sure that they not gonna last long and giggle.

They're on the mainland, there are also 7 island that represent all the races. Vampire, Zombie, Human, Elf, Werewolf, Dwarf and Barbarian. They had an island and the most influence island is the vampire.

They're open to other races, Such as trading resources and even hire a worker from other races. Every races has their own unique traits, For example Vampire is the most fishy one because of the current king.

Meanwhile the human doesn't have any good relation with other races except for Zombie, Dwarf and Barbarian, Although elf is the kind races they didn't even let their guard down and will hunt the enemy until it's dead.

Dwarf are the races that specialize in crafting weapon, They're selling the best equipment and if you're lucky you might getting you weapon crafted by the legendary smith. But no one has ever meet him in person, So that story has become nothing more than just a legend.

Well barbarian, They have the weirdest traits of all races because if they find someone strong, They most likely wanted to challenge that person and he will do anything to make the duel happen by offering sme money.

While zombie, Nothing special from them they're kind just like the elf. But their warriors is not too strong compare to the human force. Their king is also the weakest of all races. They even hire an extra man from the other races.

Last but not least the demon, They also has a country, They're strong races and a cruel one they gonna kill any races that enters their territory without hesitation.

"That is why you guys shouldn't wander too far from the mainland the odds of surviving is so thin"

Hearing that, The whole class got a chill, Some even swallow their saliva but their are safe as long as they didn't wander too far and lost.

"Okay and for the next announcement we will having mock battle with thee human country in 2 weeks, So get ready for it and starting tommorow i will trach use guys how to use a weapon."

The whole class was confused because does human can really use sword?

"I know you guys were confused so let me tell you human has evolved slowly and now they can use sword"

A beautiful women suddenly stand and clear the confusion on everyone's head. With a long and blackish hair Ray blush and quickly hide his face, His face were cover in red.

Zed who is looking at Ryo give a sign that someone is in love, Both of them chuckle and approach Ray.

The class has ended and they all started to go back home.
