Lula's Delusion

"Don't stress yourself and get plenty of rest," says Niva like a real doctor. Such an irony that 70% of his stress is caused by Niva's shenanigan.

Lynel still sits there whilst regulating his breath.

The pattern to activate [The Puppeteer] is as follows. First, declare a statement to a person. It is usually when you demand someone to obey your statement. If the victim breaches the statement, a strange illness suddenly strikes them. Even if the victim is the healthiest person in the realm.

Secondly, an immense pain in the lung, choking in the neck, in Lynel's case, a mild seizure. Even though the golem and Krilo do not show the seizure symptoms. Niva instinctively told him that it was caused only by the seizure. He hopes that Lynel does not investigate further. [The puppeteer]'s mark has been casted at the victim at this point.

The final step is the victim must accept Niva's proposal while at the same time struggling for his/her life. After that, you can command the victim at will. Given that the victim successfully answers the proposal. But what if the victim does not answer?

Why should he care? The Foxtren is under his command now. The sincere relationship is practically gone between the two.

"Stand up Lynel!" commands Niva.

He then stands up. "What are you waiting for? Lula might escape if we are not in a hurry."

'Hmm, he still can respond like a human even though I demanded him to stand up. the good thing is, he does not make a fuss about my secret power anymore.'

"Ok now do 10 push ups," demands Niva, still testing his power extent.

Lynel looks at him with a confused face. "With two hands, or one hand?"

"One hand if you may."

He then goes into a push up position, with his left hand behind his back. Proceed doing 10 reps without any other questions.

'Every response from him is really normal. Except the way he does not argue about the demand. Maybe a more extreme demand will test the extent of this power'

Niva then looks at the pool of green liquid. 'No, maybe later.'

Lynel is standing up after he did the final push up.

"How are you feeling?" Niva slips his tongue.

"It's better. All thanks to you," answers Lynel smiling.

Niva shouldn't ask that question. It might trigger Lynel's subconscious to know what truly happens. One thing to note is that Lynel knows how to hide his intention and ask it in the most unfortunate of times.

Next time he will not let his guard down again. Especially when [The Puppeteer] is already taking his effect in Lynel. Who knows, maybe deep down, Lynel is formulating a way to confront Niva for the second time by acting oblivious.

The upward slope where he saw Shervo is not far. A sense of dread coming to him again. 'Does she know about my secret power?' Niva can't help thinking that she may have eavesdropped on him. Even though the interaction between Lynel and Niva are not that obvious.

He vows not to use this ability on someone. But looking at Lula's terrifying ability, he might give an exception and use it if things go wrong.

"Do you think she will poison us?" asks Niva somewhat scared. Lynel might give a deeper outlook about her, after all, they both belong to the offensive class.

"We should drink the antidote first. In case there is poisonous air," suggests Lynel. Niva does not argue and the two gulp the only antidote bottle. Praying that he is still given longevity after this.

There is no guarantee even after the two digest the potion. They walk casually to the upward slope. Abandoning any hope that they can catch her off guard.

Niva peek his head after Lynel's through the floor slab. There, Lula sits on the floor while leaning on to the cave wall. Shervo is drinking an ominous potion like in the prison.

Lula looks at the two visitors that had just come. Her eyes give a sneering look combined with a sly set of smiles. That face is not the usual expression that Lula radiates. The amount of smirks in her face is unreal.

"Hello Niva and Lynel, I thought you two died by the golem?" greets Lula calmly.

"We survived unscathed. They were no match against us," Lynel too does not want to lose in ego battle.

"Oh…" answers Lula. Displaying a surprise look in her face.

"Never mind that, why are you lying to us?" Niva quickly steers the conversation. Any conversation is fine except when it leads to what kind of power that Niva has. It is also noted that he does not want to trigger any thought provoking things for Lynel.

"Heh, I am not satisfied with this class. It only brings destruction to everyone involved." Lula quickly interjects.

Lula seems to exhibit a low self esteem. But the way she talks indicates an act of denial "But you helped us clear this dungeon from the golem," says Niva, trying to lift her self esteem.

"I am just doing my job, that's all. But still, it did not satisfy me the slightest," says Lula.

Niva looks toward the potion that she regularly gives to Shervo and is going to take a somewhat blind guess. "You are making a health potion, right?"

Lula thinks for several seconds and puts a straight face. "Yes, in fact, Shervo's job is to determine if the potion works or not."

'I see what it is.' thinks Niva seems to know what is happening.

The person in front of him is clearly sick and delusional. She desperately tries to change her class by means of imitation. But never in history did a person change the class that had been given to them. The only way it is possible is by applying for dual class at the age of 30. But not 5% of the people from both kingdoms passed the trial.

In theory, imitating other classes will never work. A health potion maker with a [Doctor] class and with who doesn't really matter. There is a critical ingredient that is called the [Doctor's Essence]. The [Doctor] class basically rubs his or her hand to one of the ingredients. That process alone could greatly enhance the healing capabilities of the potion.

But when rubbed by the hands of [Toxinizer] class line, it will become a poison or any other destructive substances.
