Wedding Planner

Brooklyn

Summertime, After Graduation, New York City.

I come home to My condo with Nate in the Madison house on 15 East, 30th street. Kinda took up three years of allowance money but it's fine. I look at bridal magazines and glance at the Graduation certificate hung up on the wall. "I'm home!" Nate calls, coming in. I drop the magazine and rush over to Nate. He has a job as an intern at a Investigation company as I go to school at NYU. How is my future wife?" He asks.

"Well, we're 18 and living the dream in a very expensive condo, getting married in three weeks, and happy. So I'm great." I tell him.

"The only thing left is my last bridal fitting, and booking a flight back to Columbus. All the way back home in Ohio." I smile, my arms wrapped around him and his hands wrapped around my waist.

"You're still worrying about that?" He asks.

"It's not worrying. It's planning, plus, I wish we could have our wedding here but Mina and Xavier are all the way back home still, AND they're a bit cheaper back in Ohio." I explain, letting go and making my way into our big living room. I stand by the window and admire the view. I get scared sometimes since we're high up in the building, but I never get scared around Nate. He sneaks up behind me and starts kissing my neck. I roll my head back and turn around. I walk to the couch and sit down. Nates father died last month... So he's been taking it hard still. He keeps saying it's his fault, cause he was here instead of with him. He walks over to me and I kiss him, pulling him on top of me. He runs his hands throughout my hair. I laugh and get up. Let's change locations, there's a big window." I whisper.

A moment later we're in the bed, feeling each other. I let out a quiet whimper as he pulls my hair.

Mina

Summed after graduation, 8:00 PM, Columbus

"Brook and Nate are flying out tomorrow from New York." I remind Xavier as a hung up on a project call. I go to the Ohio University of Social services while Xavier goes to the Collage of Art and Design. He's been painting non stop the past three months, and it's July. I undress and change to pajamas. We live at the District at Tuttle, it's very nice. We got the money from a trust fund Xaviers dad had. His dad left when he was little. My parents are paying for my collage tuitions and payments, and Xavier got a scholarship. Alice lives in the same house since high school, expect she OWNS it now.

"Zayne and Alice are expecting now, have you heard?" Xavier mentions.

"Well duh, Brooklyn told me yesterday. We're having a bachelorette party next week, the week before wedding week." I remind him.

"Right, while me and the guys are going to have a guys night out, aka our own bachelor party." He says as he hugs me from behind and kisses my cheek. I take a look at instagram and see a post from a long time ago, back in High school of the six of us on Zaynes page. I'm wearing my black dress I would usually wear on nice warm days, Nate with his usual leather jacket, Zayne in his football jersey, Xavier when he had that scarf, glasses, messy hair, and Brooklyn wearing a black shirt with a skirt with a floral print. Our usual high school looks.

Xavier and I pick Brooklyn and Nate up at the airport and start diving home. "So how's New York?" I ask. "Oh, it's New York... It's nothing like home though. I miss how peaceful everything was." Brooklyn says, looking out the window. We pass by our old high school and everything suddenly gets very nostalgic.

"That very driveway though..." Nate says. "Remember that, Brook?" He asks, putting a hand on her thigh.

"Never could forget it." Brooklyn smiles. They share a kiss and I giggle.

"And remember that time we all sat with the wrong people on Alices plane?" I ask.

"That's true. I couldn't take my eyes off of Nate when he was sitting next to you, Mina. Then I just ended up showing him off when you were checking him out" Brooklyn laughs.

"What can I say? All I saw was abs. Plus, Xavier never wanted to show me his back then. It was a hateful time for the six of us. I still remember that you payed for my whole proposal." I laugh with her.

"And I don't regret it one bit. Graduation was the best day of our lives." Brooklyn mentions. We pull up into our house.

We get down and go inside. It's still early out, it's at least 11:30. Mostly cause it's only and hour flight from New York. We all hang out in the living room area. Brooklyn heads to the guest room with her wedding dress to hang it.

"I keep forgetting we are all having a triple wedding. We shared the best moments of our lives together, and yet, another one comes. And after this, then another one yet to come again." Nate says.

"Since when did you get so poetic?" Brooklyn asks as he clasps onto his arm.

"Ever since you made me start reading books with you." Nate smiles.

"You guys can sleep in the guest bedroom for the whole trip." Xavier says as he hugs me from behind.

"Thank you guys, I really appreciate your hospitality." Brooklyn smiles.
