Chapter 193: Haunted

Carter parked and rushed into the drug store, grabbing a hand basket. He went down the pain reliever aisle, grabbing cramp medication and tossing it into the basket hanging on his arm. He briskly walked down the family planning aisle, tossing in two boxes of her favorite tampons and pads so she had enough for the trip. He went down the candy aisle and grabbed a few of her favorite chocolates and some peppermints for her stomach because he knew how she got. He picked up a new blanket and a heating pad.

He took everything to the register and paid for them. He thanked the cashier and left the store to get into his car. He stopped on the way home to buy her some leggings and a few t-shirt dresses that were comfortable and good for the long plane ride.

He opened the door to their house and nearly tripped over Lucky, cursing beneath his breath at her for getting in the way. He jogged up the stairs to get to Ariana, who was currently laying in their bed.
