Felix Adventurer

Felix had left on his adventure and the receptionist would have warned him that he would find slimes near the edges of the city that were a short time away.

Felix walked close to the spot the receptionist had told him about and found a group of slimes.

Felix - Hell's Blaze

Felix had toasted the slimes, all that was left were the slime cores.

Felix - Wait, I just realized something, why there were no cores on the minotaurs I killed in the fight against Ankur.

Felix was left wondering and his only conclusion was that because the monsters were human before, they didn't have any core, which was true, as monsters are either produced by a god or produced by mating, so humans who mutated into monsters didn't have any cores from the start.

Felix was having fun being an adventurer, he felt free, Felix was out of town and he could see a vast lake and fields colored by flowers surrounding him, the town of Tricosy was near a big lake, and every town in the kingdom Kay's were known for having vast lakes and rivers, which made Kay's kingdom a kingdom with high productivity of agricultural products. Felix was delighted with the view he had from outside the city and took advantage of the extra time he had to admire the views of Tricosy, at sunset, Felix had to go back to the Adventurer's Center and collect his reward to then buy something to eat. Felix on the way to the Adventurer's Center still outside the city came across a group of 8 people that appeared from among the trees.

Felix - Who are you?

??? - I'm their leader and we just want to have a litle talk with you.

Felix - Ok...but who are you?

Leader of thieves - I will tell you, only cause you can't escape, we are thieves.

Felix - Ohhhh...what you want then?

Leader of thieves - I ALREADY TOLD YOU! WE WANT TO TALK WITH YOU!

Felix - But you are already talking, so say what you want.

Leader of thieves - I can see you won't make it easy for us.

Felix - Hmmm.....

Leader of thieves - Ok, I wanted to be nice, but you don't seem to let me be nice to you, so give me everything you have, money, jewelry, everything!

Felix - I already realized what is happening here, do you want to rob me? I must say that I have nothing of value.

Leader of thieves - Give me everything you have.

Felix - You are so naive, Ground Prison.

The floor had trapped all eight members of the group.

Leader of thieves - Wait, what is this?

Felix - Why everyone says that? It's obviously a ground trap.

Leader of thieves - Who are you, you are not an rank 10 adventurer?

Felix - Oh, so you're the ones I noticed spying on me in the Adventurer's Center.

Leader of thieves - You noticed?

Felix thought - "Actually I didn't noticed, just wanted to sound like a cool guy"

Felix - Aham, Now that you're all stuck on the floor, what do you have to offer me in exchange for me not reporting you?

Leader of thieves - I...I can give you all we have in this moment, would you accept it?

Felix - How much do you have?

Leader of thieves - I only have 4 silver, that's all.

Felix - That's enough...

Felix had received the 4 silver from the group of thieves, none of them had done anything against Felix, they had just respected the strength of that man and left as if nothing happened.

Felix was happily walking towards the Adventurer's Center and when he got there he was greeted by a great confusion.

When he tried to understand what was happening and entered the Adventurer's Center in the midst of the crowd, reaching the receptionist, everything became clear.

Felix - What is happening?

Recepcionist - A rank 3 adventurer has just arrived in town.

Felix - Being rank 3 adventurer is that amazing?

Recepcionist - No one had ever managed to reach rank 0 and very few had reached rank 1 being hailed as heroes of humanity, so normally being a rank 2 or 3 adventurer is something very rare, these ranks are compared to army chiefs who carry with them the honor of their Kingdom.

Felix - Wow, now I can see why all this people came here.

Recepcionist - Yes.

Felix - Ohh almost forgot, I have the 10 smile cores.

Recepcionist - Great, let me just see if it's the right color.

Felix - Ok.

The receptionist started to analyze the color of those colored rocks and after analyzing them confirmed that they were slime and gave the reward to Felix.

Felix thought - "I already had 4 silver from the thieves, but more 10 bronze will be usefull"

Felix didn't know how to cook, he still had to learn, but for now thanks to the extra money he received, he could eat something ready made like a shrimp skewer which was the most popular dish in the town of Tricosy.

Felix walks through Tricosy's square where there were stalls that mainly sell food and clothes, he decides that he would eat Tricosy's popular dish, but when he arrives at a stall that sells especially this dish he finds Yudi working in that stall.

Felix - Yudi is that you?

Yudi - Felix? What are you doing here?

Felix - I just came back from the work and got my payment then I just wanted to eat something.

Yudi - Where you're working?

Felix - I'm working as an adventurer on Adventurer's Center

Yudi - Ohh that's nice.

Felix - So you are working as a cooker?

Yudi - This job pays well.

Felix - I see...

Yudi - When I have enough money I will train around with different fighting styles and different monsters to fight.

Felix - Ooh, I haven't really seen that far, but I think I'll find a way to get to the world of the gods and finally find my father.

Yudi - We have our own objectives hã...

Felix - Yeah...

Yudi - Promise me that when we end our training we will meet again.

Felix - Promised.
