chapter 1 On The Run

before I was captured I was, in a group called "the last" we called ourselves that because. we weren't brainwashed by the vampires. or because we weren't in vampire pet shops, anyways we were freeing people from pet shops to help the cause and join our clan. but the "vampire police" were waiting for us since they had figured out our plans and patterns. I guess we had a mole, I was too busy running for my life everyone was either running or hiding and in the end, I ran to the dark forest. and one vampire cop had gotten to me and I struggled and kicked and hit until he whacked me in the head.

and everything went black, soon I woke up with had a huge headache. "what happened" I mumbled. soon last night's events rushed through my head "you are at master Vlad's house" I heard a little voice squeak I look up to see a girl, about the same age as me. in the middle of the room well, actually more like a cell. and she was in a maid's outfit. I didn't answer her because I was trying to wrap my head around everything.

I was running.

I got wacked.

I woke up, and heard voices "what do you mean you only found this stupid girl!" someone had yelled "we looked everywhere, we can't find everyone else sir" there was a long pause "take her to the vampires she has to know something about the humans going up against us, I'll call them an arranged a meeting" the man had said in a husky deep voice.

wait didn't that girl say Vlad's house!!! omg! I'm the ruler of everything house I need to get out of here! right now! but how!!

"did you hear me?" asked the girl.

I shook my head forgetting she was there "sorry no, what did you say?" I questioned.

"I said that Louis is going to take you to meet master Vlad and the other 5 vampire kings" she had said

PTT more like leeches said my inner voice as I nodded still thinking about how I'm going get out of here.

"I'm sorry I forgot to ask for your name," I said getting off the cell's cold floor. and walking over to her.

she smiled and said her name was "Beth, Beth walker what's yours?" she had asked this time I had smiled "Cassie, Cassie wells" I said as we shook hands I had heard that people back when everything was normal they shook hands when they met someone new.

then a thud made me jump out of my skin. and I heard heavy footsteps coming down, down, down the stone stairs. Beth told me not to be scared and it was just Louis a tall man dressed in black, who appeared he had.

pale skin.

and you could see fangs.

god, I hate vampires. soon he was right in front of me and he flash me a smile. he has dark black eyes and pale skin brown hair and was tall "Hi I'm Louis it's nice to meet you and I'm here to lead you where mater Vlad is," he said in a usual tone that was neither cheerful or bored just normal. I just nodded my head before I left though I said "bye Beth!" "she had just smiled and waved saying "bye Cassie" a minute later I got tired of walking so I started slowing down and after another minute I keep stumbling around and when I tripped and fell on my face before I could get up. "what are you doing?" Louis asked "I tripped," I said, "why?" he said

is he stupid? yeah probably.

I sighed not answering until he went over picked me up and started to carry me over his shoulder!!!!! "let me go!" I screamed loud enough for maids to turn their heads. I kicked and hit his back and screamed "put me down!" I hit his back some more "shush" he said trying to shut me up so I decided to yell louder. " YOU STUPID LEACH!! I HATE YOU AND YOUR KIND!!!!" while I was screaming I haven't noticed that we had entered a room filled with the 6 most dangerous vampires in the world. he finally put me down and whispered "I tried to shut you up" he hissed in my ear. ugh, why did I not listen to him?

because you're a fool! said my inner self

I turned around to face the vampire's kings, and Louis had bowed while I just stood there looking up at their faces. "here's the human" Louis said "your dismissed Louis" said Vlad

please, please, please don't leave me with these rats! I said in my head but he still left the room.

then Xander laughed. god, he must be insane. he kept laughing and Hugo smirked. "you know it's rude to call us rats," Xander said, wait what the fuck!!....oh yeah they all can read minds. "yes, we can and you are not allowed to use that language!" Vlad said, only the 5 vampires kings, and rulers could read minds since they had come from a house, (author's note which I will talk more about later in the story) his voice boomed you could probably hear it everywhere in his castle. I looked up into his eyes, I also remember that humans weren't supposed to look into a vampire's eyes but I couldn't help it his eyes were incredible, they were dark blue and look like crystals, and had a tent of grey in them. "whatever leach!" I said there were a ton of gasps in the room. stupid vampires, has no human ever talked back to him? that's just sad! "no it's because I have power, you don't!" Vlad said. no, he yelled.

"God I going to go deaf listening to you and all that yelling we're literally in the same room can you quiet down"

Vlad roses from his seat and in a blink of an eye, he was right in front of me. "tell me who the fuck you work with right now!" oh he can use that "language" but I can't stupid leach I said in mind and Xander and Hugo burst out laughing again. oops, I forgot they can read minds. I guess king Hugo and king Xander are jokers of the group. "yep, that's us. and please just call me Xander" he said, "she is not allowed to call you that," Vlad said, "why?" I asked, "what else should I call him?" I said again isn't there another rule about not speaking unless you are spoken to. oops.

"call him king Xander, and the others by the king, and their name, and me" He smirked when he mentioned his name. "call me Master," he said still smirking I laughed "fuck that! fuck you! go to hell!" I yell

And then I spit in his face!

welp probably going to die, at least it's better than being in a world of vampires.
