Chapter 153: Did Drake See Her Through?
Outside, Angelo exhaled as fresh air rushed in. Luckily, Drake didn't stay here for the party, otherwise, she might be exposed.
"You were afraid," blurted Drake.
Angelo stayed and swallowed.
"Afraid? What are you talking about? Don't talk nonsense," said Angelo guiltily.
"The party."
Hearing that, Angelo got nervous. Did Drake see her through?
"You have been trying to avoid going to the party." Drake stared at her sharply.
Angelo, however, suddenly chuckled and looked up at him. "I'm afraid you'll be surrounded by girls who covet you. That's why I don't want you to go to the party," she said.
With that, Angelo put her hands on Drake's shoulders. They were so close that they could sense the breath from each other.
Drake held Angelo's waist. He knew she was acting, but still, he didn't want to refuse her approach.
