Chapter 3: It begins

Marcus woke up feeling wet grass on his back. He sighed and opened his eyes to look at a clear blue sky.

"Here we are" he said sitting up.

He looked around to see the vast green field that stretched for 100s of kilometers.

"Your finally awake" he heard a voice behind him.

He turned his head and saw a blonde woman, with pure white skin, with angel wings and a white dress. She was very attractive and had a very alluring smile on her face.

"Welcome Marcus" she said. "My name is..."

"Don't care, just move along to the important bits" Marcus said rolling his eyes.

"Excuse me?" she asked.

"Does it look like I'm in a situation where I can care about the name of some random person who basically kidnapped me?" he asked.

"While I understand your frustration, watch your to..." She said as her smile vanished.

"Or what?" he asked as he walked up to her and looked her in the eyes.

She was silent.

"Exactly, now get to the shit that matters" he said.

"You have been chosen by the gods to be sent to a different world, Eldergard so you can stop a calamity before it spreads to your original world, you will be equipped with a class of your choosing and with that you can gain power beyond your..." She said.

"Skip to the class choosing" he said.

"Of course" vains were bulging on her forehead.

A screen showing all the classes to choose from appeared in front of him.

"Here are the..."

"I pick Swordsman" he said.

"You haven't even see the other options, there is alot to consider when..." she said.

"Shut up and send me to Eldargard already" Marcus said as he folded his arms.

The angel said nothing but clicked her fingers and he was enveloped by a bright white light.

"Since when are humans so fearless, wasn't he supposed to bow down to me?! I'M AN ANGEL FOR CRYING OUT LOUD,IF I WAS ALLOWED TO, I COULD'VE SNAPPED YOU OUT OF EXISTENCE YOU RAT!" she yelled as the clear blue sky turned to black.

She shook her head and calmed down.

"Doesn't matter, not like he'll survive for long" she said as she smiled.

Marcus opened his eyes again when he felt like he was touching the ground again. He saw more people around where he was standing. He looked in the building they were currently in and knew they were in the spawn point.

He looked at himself and he saw a sword sheathed to his hip on the left side.

[Beginner sword]

[Grade: Normal]

[Attack: +5]

People were looking around surprised at what just happened, some were frightened, while others talked to those they knew about how attractive the angels were.

'If only they knew angels could care less about us, they're basically using us to do they're dirty work and no matter how much we suffer they won't care' Marcus thought as he started walking towards the door of the spawn point.

He opened the door and everyone was blinded by the bright light that shone through.

Marcus looked around and saw they were in a forest.

"Just like I remembered" he said.

[Quest: Make it out of the forest and to Lavendar town before nightfall]

Everyone was startled by the blue holographic screen in front of them.

There was a map that appeared below the screen that showed them which direction to go which surprised them, then they were more surprised at the man that opened the door ran the opposite direction that the map told them.

"Where is he going?"

"Is he crazy?"

"Probably directionally challenged"

Everyone said as they watched him run into the forest.

"Lets go, by the looks of it the town is close" one of the people said.

Everyone followed the person as they looked very dependable.

After two minutes they heard a growling in the direction of the village. A red wolf the size of a horse slowly walked out from the bushes growing towards them.

"Oh lord!"

"What is that?!"

People started yelling.

"Wait, its just one of them, with so many of us, we can take it!" the man said.

After he said that a few more of the giant wolves appeared. A few people at the back started running the same direction that Marcus went and that set off the wolves.

Marcus was running and he heard screams in the distance.

"HELP ME!"

"GOD, IT HURTS!"

"That happened faster then I remembered, red wolves are to much to handle right now, need at least to be Level 10" he said as made a left turn.

He ran for an hour at least before he stopped.

"This should be far enough for me to take a break" he said as he was gasping.

He looked around and saw tall trees surrounded the place.

"This should be it right?" he said climbing the nearest tree.

He got to the top of it and got so high he could see the whole forest and Lavender Town.

"Not as far as I remember it" he said. "Then again, I followed the map and almost died the first time around" he said with a smile.

He looked at the tree branch and took a fruit from the tree. The fruit looked like an apple, but it was yellow with green dots.

"To think I would find these so fast" he said as he ate it.

[Random Stat has raised by 2]

"Rumor was true after all" he said as he found another and ate it.

In his last life Marcus heard rumors from someone that said he ran the opposite direction and found strange food to eat that raised his stats, they only worked during the Tutorial stage as he tried to eat them again after he got strong enough.

"I'll find as many as I can and see how far I can take it" Marcus said as he ate a few more.

After a few more it seemed the effects were going lower.

[Random Stat raised by 1]

"It seems I'm growing an immunity to them now, that's fine 1 Stat is still worth a lot especially in the beginning" he said running towards lavendar town.

He felt the speed he gained and was smiling.

He saw a lot of people on the way to lavendar town, all were injured or dead.

"Unfortunate, but it is what it is" he said not paying them anymore attention. Ignoring the screams for help.

Marcus in the past would have probably helped them, but he knew the things that were in this forest and would rather not be around when night falls.

He stopped running when he saw a giant red wolf eating some corpses.

"Didn't know the [Berserk red wolf] was here" he said changing direction. "That's for level 15 at least" he said.

He carried on eating the fruit and looked around where he was.

"Should it be around here?" he asked.

Marcus remembered there was a hidden item in the Tutorial area that was good for the beginning stages, it was called [The masters first weapon], an item that changed depending on the class of the person who equipped it, it wasnt all that powerful but it was decent item that could help him to at least level 5.

He stopped running.

[Random Stats raised by 0]

"These are useless now" he said dropping the rest of the apple he had.

"Not surprising, all good things come to an end at some point" he said.

He walked towards a big tree that didn't match the rest. It was white while all the others were brown in colour.

He touched it and it glowed.

[You've found a hidden dungeon] he saw the announcement in front of his eyes and took a deep breath.

[Will you enter?]

[Y/N?]

"I'll enter" he said.

The tree split in the middle and a blue glow blinded him. He opened his eyes in what looked like a cave.

He walked forward towards the light and reached a large room where he saw a box in the middle.

He picked up a rocked and through it at the box, almost instantly arrows shot towards the rock immediately.

"Do gullible" he said sighing.

He unsheathed his sword and walked forward. He knew that there was an arrow trap because he heard it from the person who origanilly found the sword, but he wasn't sure there was other traps so he walked with caution.

He made it to the box and opened it. [You've found the Masters first weapon<sword>]

"This should help me a lot" he said before leaving.

He still carried the [Beginner sword] but on his right side.

"I'll sell it for a quick buck when I get to Lavendar town, it looks like I'll be getting there soon" he said with a smile.

To be continued...
