The Desire To Drink Her Blood
"Ugh," Tashina heaved when she got a whiff of the blood Lady Hella gave her.
It smelt like a rotten sack of spoils. The normal scent which used to entice her now revolted her even more.
It was strange, a part of her was craving for it but the other part was protesting against it.
"Your Majesty, Lady Hella had informed us you must take the blood," one of the maids told her.
She looked up at the three maids who were bowing down at her respectfully. She could also feel the fear in them.
Seeing their friend almost being drained by a hungry vampire was definitely enough to terrify them in her presence.
She didn't blame them for having such thoughts.
"If you're uncomfortable around me and fear I might harm you, you are free to request a change in position. I wouldn't stop you," she said gently before she looked down at the crimson liquid in the cup.
