Chapter 26 - The Big Thing Disappeared

They were in the same corridor as before when Serefina had a thought.

"Um, Bryan?" she called. "You still haven't drank the English Tea? Won't you faint again?"

"Actually, I knew he would have forgotten," Kyle said, "so I asked Natalie to make some for Bryan and Rhys." Kyle dug her hand inside her jacket pocket and took out a medium sized thermal flask. Serefina had to wonder how deep her pockets were.

Kyle handed the flask to Bryan. He took a single gulp and then Rhys drank up every last drop of the tea. Kyle kept the flask back inside her pocket.

Bryan lightened a new lanturn kept on a rack opposite to the last wall.

"Is that Big thing going to attack us again?" Serefina asked.

"Hope not," Bryan assured. At that moment Serefina thought if she wanted to go back but Grandma Hannah was maybe in some kind of danger. She couldn't just run away.

The four of them tip-toed towards the portal. To Serefina's relief the Big thing wasn't at its usual place.

"Where is that Giant We Except Bryan Don't Know What Is It?" Rhys asked.

"I am wondering the same thing," Bryan stopped to think something.

"Oh no!" Kyle pulled Serefina to her side from Bryan's and whispered, "Brace yourself, if Bryan's thinking then there's definitely a bad news on it's way."

"What do you mean?" Serefina asked.

"Just know, he's gonna shake the world," Rhys answered. "In three."

Serefina was utterly confused.

"Two," Kyle continued.

"And one," Both said at once.

"Seems like this happened because of the Time Crystals," Bryan said.

"What happened?" Serefina asked, finally getting the point.

"Sef, do you remember the time running fast?" he asked and she nodded. "That day was the future we saw but we did not pay attention at the clock since that day, did we?"

"We have been focusing on finding Grandma Hannah that we nearly forgot about the time running out!" Serefina confirmed.

"Exactly. The guardian prevents the time from messing up but now that the time is running fast maybe he just went to check if something's wrong."

"That makes sense," Kyle assured. "Not much of a bad news, I'd say."

"I guess its good thing. Now we won't have any problems reaching the portal." Bryan gave everyone an encouraging smile.

And with that, the four of them walked towards the portal without another word and stepped inside.
