The Party: The Surprise Guest

Jusi cudnt believe how Lit her party had gotten. It had got so packed...people where now in kitchen dancing too. Jusi was glad her party was success. She had been dancing with her co-worker Paul for the last two songs. Paul was currently an undergraduate student at Morehouse. Tall ,chocolate cream like skin, with waves in hair his that would make u dizzy. He was very nice to Jusi from day one. They hit it off very well wen she first started working at the bar. The song was ending and Jusi need a break. Thanking him for the dance ,she walked to the kitchen.

Looking at the clock ,that hung on da back of her kitchen, it read 11p.m. Campus security will be through soon to make all freshman are at their room by 12. Jusi couldn't was still shock at the time when the door bell went off. Bing, Bong ,Bing Bong. Rolling her eyes at her horrible door bell. " That cant be more party guest this late into party..." She spoke out loud to herself. Taking a quick glance through the peephole. Her mind couldn't believe her eyes for a few seconds. Was it really him .Standing on her on door step.Tryi g to get into her party.

Her mind still hadn't processed the Hykife Hummins was at her door ...as she opened it. There he stood . Too tall to jus walk through, he had to bend down a little. He looked sculpted in his tight fitting shirt and denim jeans. Jusi than realized she was jus stand there staring at him like an ididit . " Hi welcome to my party. Drinks and food is in the kitchen. " She said rather rushed,as she takes off to search for Renie. Waving her way through her crowed living room. She spotted Renie dancing wit both Mate and Timmy. Jusi jus grab her from the human sandwich ,dragging her to bathroom. "Jusi girl what's wrong. " Renie complained. "Did u not see me in Renie haeven. " She wobbled a little. Jusi didn't comment on her cleverness. Her mind was still on who she let in her house. "Renie he's her." Was all she could force her self to say. "Who's here ." Renie confused drunk look aggravated her. Rolling her eye ," Hykife, that upperclassman. " Jusi said. Reni blank stare was all Jusi needed. " What for what. The party,does he know anyone here ." She questioned. Still shocked Jusi just shrugged.

I wonder if he remembers me. Damn who does he know here. I cant believe I just stared at him like that. Damn he looks even better. " Girl you got to point him out to me ." Renie said as she exit the bathroom. As they round the corner back into the party. There he stood . In the light of the kitchen, Jusi could she see that he wore a black shirt . His chest looked so big in it ...she was sure all he had to was flex and the shirt would rip to peaces. "That must be him ." Renie teased. " You're staring." She laughed. "Shut up , yeah that him . I wonder how he found out about my party. " Deciding it best just to ask Jusi walked up to him. Renie right on her heels.

" Hey, I'm Jusi " she held her hand out. " This is Renie." He shook their hand like they were soft cotton. Or maybe it was pure masculinity of strength in his hand . Jusi didnt know which. " Sorry I couldn't properly introduce myself a little ago,I had to take care of something. " And YOU are." Renie laughed because she knew damn well we both knew who he was. "Hello ladies, I'm Hykife Hummins. I go to Howard. My little sister is a freshman at Spelman. I'm here to meet her." He explained.

Realatation hit Jusi jus than. That freshman who tried to sneak a drink.

"Oh really what's her name" Jusi asked.

"Marlie Hummins."

Jus as he said sister names... Marlie stabled into the kitchen. "Oh no she wasn't suppose to be drinking." Jusi said distressed. " I've been keeping a eye on all the freshman, so this wouldn't happen. "

Marlie saw her brother and ran for a hug. " Finally , please take me my doorm." Hykife was shacking his head at his drunk little sister.

"I'm so sorry about. I really tried to keep her away from the alcohol. " Jusi apologize.

"Its not your fault, my sister's a light weight. This is probably the result of one drink. " He laughed.

His laugh alone made Jusi get goosebumps.

Jusi wasnt sure jus when Renie had returned to the dance floor. But she knew she wasnt behind her any more. Thanks the universe. Renie would never let her live it down. Marlie was now leaning into her big brother without a care, almost sleep it would seem.

" Let me get her to doorm, campus security will be rolling through in about 20 minutes." He scoop his sleeping sister into his arms. Jusi bottoms lips want to drop. but she held it. Damn he did that wit so much ease.

" Yeah , that would be best... I'll get the door for you."Jusi turned on her heels. Making her way through the crowed to the front door. "Thanks ." He muttered as he walked out with the dead weight of a whole human with no problem. Damn. Jusi had never seen such strength from man before. Well her dad , but that's different. Shacking her head ,she remember about the campus security. Check the clock at the back of the kitchen. She made her way across to the speaker playing the music.

Jusi knew if she stayed by the door she would watch him til he disappeared from her view. Pulsing the music she said " All freshman, I'm sorry but your 12 o'clock curfew is here. It's time to head back to your drooms. Campus security should already be out to accompany anyone who needs it. Thanks for coming. " She watched as freshman after young freshman left her house.

Standing at her door she watched some walk to drooms, as other got in cars. Campus security was out,so she went back in to keep partying with who was left. It was 12 after all ,the party ain't over till 2 anyways. Spoting her parents, she joined them on the floor.
