The Party: Ending With A Bang

Its was something about the strick of midnight that made partys better. Jusi parent left not to long after the freshman did. With the drive from South Carolina, she Knew they wouldnt stay long.

Not having to care bou a freshman's, and family , Jusi was in full party mood. Renie the usually life of paryt,had da whole Hennessy bottle. While Jusi had da vodka bottle. Jusi co worker were still there nd more other college students too. Something by the Migos was playing which in return had the whole party LIT.

Everyone was rapping along to song. Bouncing and moving too the beat. Jusi and Renie was twerking among themselves, when a tall darkest casted over them. Jusi understanding that someone stood over them looked up. Renie jus kept dancing, too intoxicated to care. Jusi looked up into what seen a chest, a very muscular chest. So she knew it was man. The darkness of the house nd the drinking did not help her see jus than. So she had to use her hand for sight at that moment. She felt strong arm, which lead to broad shoulders. Damn this guy is built. She thought to herself.

"Thanks." The tall shadow said. " I try to stay in shape as much as I try to eat healthy." Jusi froze at the voice. Why was he thanking her for thoughts she said to herself? Horrified she looked up . How could he hear me thinking.

" Well you aren't jus thinking ... you're also voicing your thoughts ." He smiles innocently. Jusi eyes widened than. The hell is wrong with her. She jus pushed past the tall shadow. She need to get away from him. The vodka and his colon was having a strange affect on her.

Intering the kitchen Jusi saw she drink half of the vodka. Time to put that down . Jusi was cought up in her thoughts, she didnt realized she was followed.

Leaning against the counter Jusi fixed herself some ginger ale. " Are u alright." She stood straight up. It's the shadows voice again. Hmmm I can smell his colon from over here.

" Yes, i am fine." She turned with a smile on face. Her smile was replaced wit pure shock. Hykife Hummin. I was feeling on Hykife Hummins. Inwardly she was panicking. He heard everything I said, that I thought I was thinking.

" You...you came back." Hers sounded panicked to her,she cleared her throat. "How's your sister."

"She fast asleep in her droom." she assured her.

Damn Jusi just couldn't stop looking at him. He is indeed a handsome man. He was smiling now. His teeth was perfectly white. Damn this man is perfect.

"I actually came back for u. " His smile bigger now.

Jusi didnt really comprehend his word at first. Came back for me. Than she looked into his eyes.

" Did you jus say ,'you came back for me'." She asked him confused.

" Yes."

"What you mean?"

"I was just wanting a dance with the birthday girl. " His smile almost broke her. " Its only right." He held his hand out,waiting for Jusi to accept his offer. Jusi was still shocked,but she took his hand . " I think I've got one more dance in me." He lead to dance floor. Jusi didnt realized that the crowd had died down. Now it was jus Renie dancing wit Paul, Her hair styles and her man , Tim was dancing with some girl he kno and now her nd Hykife.

As if it was planned , the up beat song that playing ,turned into a slow 90's R&B song. Which was her favorite all time music. She didnt know this was on her party play list.

Hykife stood a good 6ft over her 5'5 height. He had to be 6 even. She found herself nervous. Her breath got a little faster,and she jus couldn't look up at him.

He used the hand that wasnt hold hers to pull her close to him. So close that her chest brushed up his. She swallowed the lup in her throat. He than put both hand on her waist and left her feet off the floor. Completely taking her by surprise, she looke up,into the dark yet bright eyes of his. He placed on his feet explaining " This way we can look each other in the face."

All Jusi could was nod,she didnt trust her voice just than.

With the most gentle strength she ever felt, he placed her and around his neck, let his arms rest round waist.

Slowly he started swaying them to beat of the song. He never looked away from her. His hand never fell from her waist. He only watched her. Jusi couldn't make sense of it. Hykife Hummins, upperclassman of Howard,was slow dancing wit her. Damn ,maybe I'm dreaming. Maybe I passed out from all the vodka. She thought to herself.

" So Miss. Jusi ." His deep voice brought her out of thoughts and back to him,fuller surrounding her.

" Are u enjoying your birthday."

" I am." Good conversation, she thought. Keep my thoughts in track. " I dont get to have much fun, plus my best friend and family came to celebrate with be. " She shrugged her shoulders. " I'm enjoying very much." She could hide the genuine smile that form her lips.

The song changed,but their positions didnt. She still stoop almost at eye level on his feet. Their arms where still round each,as Can we Talk played. Hykife swayed and moved them the beat. Their bodies seemed to touch at all ends. How long is he gone hold me like this,her now calm mind thought kinda dazed.

" That's good,family and friends makes everything better."

For what seem like for ever,they sway to music. Not talking,but it seem perfect to her. Damn I'm dancing with Hykife. She couldn't believe wat her birthday brought to her this year.

Suddenly he spoke again. " I remember u Miss.Jusi." His mouth was by ear now. His breath was warm to her skin,but the tiny hair on her neck still reacted. She could hardly control the shimmer that through her. " I remember u, u was running and ran right into me."

Her mind could barely keep up with his words. HE REMEMBERS ME. His hand was now wrubing the length of her back. "You never looked up at me, but I'll never forget how soft u felt when u bumped into to me." As if he couldn't resist the urge, she felt him inhale. " I never forgot the lavender earthy scent of ." I got to be dreaming. This type of stuff doesn't happen to me. Jusi couldn't believe what she was hearing.

He leaned back to look her in the eyes. "I've been coming to partys hoping to run into. Leave it to my little sister to lead me rite to u. " Jusi was so lost of words,she could just stare at him. She was never the one left speechless . She's usually leaves other speechless .Her mind wouldn't comprehend the situation.He remembered her,he'd been searching for her. What was really happening rite now.

"You remember me." Was all her shocked drunk mind could reply.

He just smiled, nodding "Yes I remember you. "

Jusi knew this was happening to her,but her mind wouldn't let think it was any thing but dream. Just than she had da boldest thought she ever had. She smiled shyly, avoiding eye contact she asked " May the birthday girl get a kiss than." She knew she took him by surprise ,because their once slowly swaying bodies stop moving. She still wasnt making eye contact wit him. It was his strong gentle hand,slightly letting her head up.So they could look right into the dark richness of their brown eyes.

"Is that what the birthday girl wants ,a kiss" His lips was only centimeters away from already. Jusi couldn't find her voice, her eyes darted from his eyes to his lips, as she nodded in agreement.

Just than his his arms tightened around her waist ,all while letting her feet off his.She took a sharp in take of breath. As his strength surprised yet again. His left hand thant once held her face ,now cradled it. There was no space between them . Her arms still wrapped around his neck, he light brushed lips over her, causing them both to inhale.

Than he place his lip full on her.Jusi felt him squeezing her ,but her mind couldn't focus on anything but his lips at the moment. Who knew a man so strong and hard,could lips this soft. They kiss for no more than a few seconds, but to Jusi felt like a life time. When he finally let Jusi lips fall from his,he place her back in his feet. Jusi was so dazed she just let her head fall to rest on his chest. His muscular chest. Damn what perfect dream to end her birthday she thought to herself .

"Jusi, everyone gone ...and your bestfriend is staring at us." He spoke as if he was surprised to.

" What." Confused she looked at the clocke,which read 2 o clock . Had they really been dancing for a hour and half ?How much did Renie see?

Placing her feet on da floor, his right arm still had her plaster to him,he used his left hand to remove her right arm from his neck. "I'll be leaving now, Miss. Jusi." yhe said as he light kissed her hand and fingers. " But I will be back to see you again." He kissed her, seemly not wanting to let her got. Release her from his hold,he left smiling at equally shocked Renie on his way out. " Good night ladies."

"Damn what a birthday party ."Jusi thought out loud.

Renie just looked her bestfriend "Bihh during clean up tomorrow, I want all the tea." Her word were kind all one,as she wobbled to stares. " But right now I need to fall on something soft ." Jusi laughed as they were both drunk, but Renie was worst. "In the morning, all the tea ." Jusi agreed.

The bestfriend both fell in the queen size bed full clothes. The last thought that crossed Jusi mind was ... Hykife Hummins remembers me. As she fell asleep the smile creeps on her lips.
