Chapter: 59

Ye Jun and Se Jeong looked at each other, took a deep breath and went in. Her father was already settled on the sofa in the hall. 

"Come in, both of you. Why are you standing outside?" he said and Ye Jun bowed to him a little.

"Sit here son-in-law." 

Ye Jun sat, and Se Jeong cleared her throat, gaining his attention. Her dad sighed.

"I know my visit here is too often but...there was no choice." 

Ye Jun frowned.

"Why?" he asked.

"I talked with your father. He agrees on your marriage, but he wants you both to get married soon. After all, you know, his condition is a bit." he stopped.

Ye Jun looked down and sighed. It also meant to end his work here soon and leave for Chicago again. The work here was piled up in a huge amount. He wondered how it would all end in just one month. 

"I know-" Se Jeong's dad kept his hand on Ye Jun's shoulder.

"-It's hard for you, but it would be good if you go back early...life is unpredictable." 

Ye Jun nodded and looked back at him.
