Monster Beast War

*SCREE* "What is that" Cousin Ning cried the dark forest became deathly loud the ground trembled *ROAR* *SCREE* *HOOO*

Jiang Tan frowned "A Beast war?" "What's a beast war?" Cousin Yuyu shouted as she pulled out her knifes. "That would explain why this mountain is so hard to survive in." Aunt Yue mumbled.

"A beast war is basically exactly how it sounds a giant battle between beasts. It could be for supremacy over other races, for an object, territory, or even females. This on the other hand removes the weaker beast and makes the beasts in this mountain only breed with the strong and keep getting stronger."

The jiang family formed a small circle at this point and we're very vigilant. "If it's a war doesn't that mean if we somehow get what their fighting for we will be the ultimate winners." Jiang Hao oddly mentioned this but it was enough to spark everyone's greed. "But how would we get close in the first place." Aunt Ling asked.

Their circle broke and became more of an oval. "First let's figure out if what their fighting for it something worth our time." Jiang Tan disappeared as she said this reappearing on top of a tree branch. "I'll go ahead." Her figure then shook before it disappeared.

"Meet back here in 20 minutes if you are in danger retreat. Prioritize your life." Aunt Ling said before she disappeared. The rest of the group nodded and disappeared.

The area they were at went silent, the next moment the ground rumbled before a small crack appeared. *Hiss*

Hiding under the sounds of fighting the air was whistling Multiple figures spread out pretty far were dashing in one direction. They were oddly dashing towards the giant fight instead of away like every other creature in the area that wants to keep it's life. The sounds of fighting go louder as they grew near till the battle was insight.

Giant creatures compared to their normal sizes were fighting from Crow to manticore to a fly. Jiang Hao just reached the air and inhaled cold air. "What the hell is going on." Jiang Hao knew what a Beast war was before he was even told thanks to the void dragons memories but he never seen one and his memories never stated anything this big. Suspended in the air in the center of the battle a few items were their but at his angle he wasn't able to see what they were clearly.

Understanding that this is what they were fighting for he started to move to a different area for a better look. Dashing from branch to branch at the edge of the battle he slowly made his way around. Every now and then he would look to the side to view the items and the battle. In all honesty he was trying to learn something off the beasts but wasn't having any luck.

Jiang Hao got a chill down his back and quickly dodge to the side interrupting his dash. A black shadow cut through where he was standing before. Getting into his form his prepared to fight what ever just attacked him. He wasn't going to be given that time though. A few more black shadows appeared before he could even realize what was attacking him.

They seemed to be coming from everywhere but no where at the same time all he could do was dodge as he wasn't going to break his only sword by attacking something he cant see. He was suppressed easily. "What is this? I knew that Divine Sovereign wasn't the peak realm but I'm a divine spirit their shouldn't but much that can beat my strength right?" Jiang Hao was mumbling as he dodged each blow.

Jiang Hao then fully regretted saying that. 10 more shadows came from directions all around him and he knew he couldn't dodge this. Instead he circulated his qi and met the shadows head on. He spun himself as fast as he could kicking up a small tornado adding a small bit of protection. When he met the first attack his sword was forcefully taken out of his hands and went with the black shadow disappearing in the forest.

Jiang Hao was Shocked but quickly corrected himself he manged to dodge the rest. He didn't know what happened but his hands felt sticky when he looked at them he saw a thick white thread. "Spider?" More black shadows few out but this time while he dodged he looked where they landed and confirmed that they were indeed webs.

Finally knowing what's attacking him Jiang Hao stimulated his Yang energy to create a fire a loud pitched scream came out from the woods followed by a dozen more black shadows. The spider didn't know exactly what it was but he felt threatened by it and wanted to quickly remove it.

Even though Jiang Hao now knew what was fighting him he didn't have the time to attack not did he know where it was.

Jiang Hao's skill set was very small. All he knew how to do was create a Yang fire for alchemy and Refining which what most people use if they cant find a better technique. His martial arts which he realized became useless and could only be used to create movement technique and barley strengthen himself. And finally his weapon techniques, other than that he didn't know any skills. That was the same for everyone but his aunt's and mother.

Jiang Hao was now in a crisis he wasn't this spiders opponent and his movement technique is barley good enough to dodge for this long so he couldn't escape. Out of options he dodge the next volley of black shadows but one. He put his arm in the way of it and let it carry him out of this fight.

The spider screamed as it saw this happen he started to rush after it's prey but never went into the light. Jiang Hao hit a trunk of a tree and coughed up some blood while his face slightly paled. He burnt the web and fell to the ground. Not even caring about anything else he dashed to another tree before pushing to run as fast as he can to push himself further from the area.
