Coming down the mountain (2)

As the sunlight Broke through the small cracks of the trees the gentle breeze ruffled the leaves, while a few fell in the autumn weather. A few people were laying on the grass bathing in the sun light. While others where playing, dancing and singing.

"mmhm" A slight moan came out of the only male in the area. He was laying in a girls lap when he suddenly made a sound. "Brother are you awake now?" She had soft and sweet voice the kind that made you smile. Her face was the first thing he saw as he opens his eyes. Her face sparkled as the sun landed on it while the wind blew her black hair back.

"Little Yin." Those where the first words he said as he slowly sat up. Looking around at the other females dancing around he slightly smiled as he looked back at little Yin. "How long has it been?" Little Yin wasn't surprised by the question and quickly answered with a smile. "Since Aunt Yue had her outburst at you it's been one and a half days." Jiang Hao smiled as he patted Little Yin's head much to her delight and stood up to stretch.

By now the others noticed he was awake but didn't stop their fun. looking at them again before walking off to the side to do some light exercise. Little Yin watched him as he preformed his steps. The Atmosphere was light and cheerful while it seemed like nothing could ruin the mood.

Hours pasted and soon everyone tired out and started a small fire for a meal. They caught a boar that was wandering around the area and happened to run into their small group. Cooking the boar with light seasonings and herbs Jiang Hao caught they started a light conversation about their plans.

"This seems to be some sort of safe zone from the monster beasts but theirs no dragon aura like last time." Aunt Ling came out and mentioned. Aunt Yue frowned "It could also be something else like a strong monster beast is nearby." Jiang Tan kept a kind smile on her face without the slightest worry. "Not likely I checked the whole area in a thousand meters and didn't pick up anything." "Then it might be something that can attract the attention of all monster beasts in the area then, but we cants be certain till we search some more." Jiang Hao decided to put his on thoughts on this as they did know he inherited a few things from a dragon but didn't know what exactly.

Jiang Hao decided to tell them everything when they got to the city not to mess with their state of mind. Looking at fire all three of them were deep in thought each with different expressions. Jiang Hao and the rest looked at each other but kept quiet to let them think.

Time passed as the dim but Bright light of the trees landed on the ground from overhead. The calm hoots of an owl came out from the dark every now and then. Coupled with the wind blowing in the leaves and the sound of running water from the river nearby it created a very magical and calming place. Soon the silence was Broken by Jiang Tan.

"Well no matter it doesn't concern us what happens, for now we need to get to the city so we can create a foundation for ourselves." Everyone agreed and the conversation ended. Instead the engaged in small conversations while others looked up or shut their eyes and laid back.

Chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves as they flew around started to ring out one by one as the sun broke the horizon and came up into the sky. Down below a group of 20 men and women were walking around. "Wang Chen what are we still doing over in this mountain". A enchanting young lady clinged tightly to the former as she whimpered. "A male behind them also spoke. "Ya we have been looking for years and haven't found a single trace of them shouldn't we just give up? They most likely died by now." The male named Wang Chen glared at the one who spoke.

"Theirs no way they died in this mountain, those Jiang females are a lot more annoying they you think why do you think they could avoid this young master for so long." Wang Chen sneered but continued. "They even burned their secret art before they escaped, plus they have Divine Monarch 3rd stage Cultivation." The other 19 people all shivered when they remembered this. But quickly stabilized and tired to suck up to Wang Chen.

"But young Lord has Divine Sovereign 1st stage Cultivation now and would be able to easily crush them with just a palm." One male quickly spoke "Yes yes the difference between them is heaven and earth they wouldn't stand a change against young Lord." Yang Chen laughed at this "Yes yes and soon they will become my women. After all we killed their husbands and their now widows. The must thank this Wang for still seeing their worth." They all laughed as they moved on to the next location to search.

"We haven't seen any monster beasts in a while something must be happening" They all noticed but only Jiang Hao pointed this out. Everyone guard was already high but still got higher after this was said. "I do wonder what is happening" Little Yin quietly whispered but was still heard by everyone.

The forest that was once full of vibrance and laughed disappeared. Now the once beautiful forest seems like it has eyes staring right at the group as they advanced down the mountain which seems like teeth that could open at any moment and eat them whole. The atmosphere was tense and the ruffling of leaves that was once calming now only caused the group the jump.

"SCREE" A loud scream bursted out of the woods, birds flew everywhere while the ground shook. "What's happening!" Cousin Ning cried. The group quickly brought out their weapons and circulated their Qi preparing for whatever is to come.
