CHAPTER - 21 { Instant Finish }

Next day___

Kota came out of the hotel and raised his hand over his eyes to avoid the sharp sunlight.

He walked along the footpath with a black mask on his face.

Some did glance at him but nobody seemed to really care about the mask.

He came in front of a building, it was covered by a thick layer of glass.

This was the Celadon Gym, it looked like a greenhouse from far.

The automatic door opened and Kota was welcomed by two beautiful women.

"Hello. How can we help you?, " Asked the woman on the right with brown hair.

"I am here to challenge the gym, " Said Kota while taking off his mask and surprising the two women.

"I know you! You are Kota, right?, " Exclaimed the green haired woman on the left while closing her mouth.

"I am, then can I have the Gym battle?, " Asked Kota while nodding his head towards the green haired woman.

"Yes yes, why not!, " The brown haired woman pulled the other along with her.

Kota stepped in and looked around the gym to find that there were alot of grass type pokemons.

"Hello, I am the Gym Leader, " From behind Kota, a sweet voice was heard.

Turning his head, Kota saw a very beautiful young woman. Erika, her name and she is the gym leader as well as a store manager.

"I am Kota. I am here to challenge the gym, " Said Kota while looking at Erika in front.

"How can I not know you? Let's immediately start the gym battle!, " Suggested Erika while Kota nodded and they went towards the battleground.

Standing opposite each other, Erika cleared her throat before speaking.

"This will be a three-on-three pokemon battle, the first one to get two of his pokemons defeated will lose, " Erika explained the rules to Kota who was already familiar with it.

"Both of you, let your pokemons out!, " The referee, who is the green haired woman, said.

"Go, Tangela!, " On the ground before Erika, a weird pokemon came out.

Tangela, a grass-type pokemon. On Kota's side, a huge orange pokemon came.

Tangela was only about the height of Charizard's knee, it was completely towered.

"Tangela! Stun Spore!, " Erika commanded from the side while looking at the huge Charizard.

'It's really big, ' Thought Erika, Kota's Charizard was many centimeters bigger than average Charizards.

"Burn it!, " Kota ordered immediately, seeing the sparking in the air around Tangela.

"Chaaa!"

Taking a deep breath before the Stun Spore could spread, he shot hot red flames on Tangela.

"Dodge it!, " Erika shouted but she didn't guess right, the range of the Flamethrower took Tangela.

"Clear the Stun Spore!, " Said Kota, Charizard flapped his wings to clear the air around him.

"Chaaa!"

Only then did Charizard take a breath, Tangela on the other hand was knocked out.

"With just a single move!, " Everyone that watched the match except Kota and Charizard was in a daze.

"First match victory goes to challenger Kota!, " The referee's voice brought them back to reality.

"You did good, " Erika muttered to the pokeball which had Tangela in it.

"Kota, indeed you are very strong. Maybe even stronger than how I imagined you to be, " Smiled Erika as she looked at Kota and said.

"Chaaa!"

Charizard let out some flames from his mouth, his hands clenched into fits.

He bent forward slightly and was ready to face Erika's next pokemon eagerly.

"Weepinbell, try your best!, " Said Erika while throwing a pokeball from which a plant pokemon came.

Weepinbell, a grass/poison-type pokemon. Kota didn't call Charizard back.

"Weepinbell! Vine Whip!, " Ordered Erika as she looked at Charizard with focus.

"Weepinbell!"

Two green vines came out from Weepinbell's body and attacked Charizard.

"No! Stop!, " Immediately, Erika thought of a sudden situation that could be possible.

"Chaaa!"

The Vine Whip had already come in the reach of Charizard who grabbed them.

"Weepinbell!"

Weepinbell was directly pulled with brute strength, Charizard used Flamethrower to defeat Weepinbell.

"Weepinbell!, " Erika shouted while running towards Weepinbell who was almost burned by Charizard.

"With two consecutive wins, challenge Kota has defeated gym leader Erika!, " The referee' voice sounded in the hall.

Kota called Charizard back in his pokeball as Erika came walking towards him with a badge.

"Here, Rainbow Badge. You really are mind blowing, " Praised Erika while handing over the badge to Kota.

"Thanks, " Not much to say, Kota left the gym with a new badge in his badge case.

After leaving Celadon City, Kota came to a dense forest where he will be spending his time to train his pokemons.

Picking a nice spot near a very big lake, Kota planned to camp here.

"Come out, all of you!, " Throwing the pokeballs, six lights flashed and six different pokemons came out.

*Splash!*

The huge body of Gyarados submerged in the lake as it splashed water drops.

"Chaa!"

With his flame roar, Charizard looked around to find himself in a nice spot.

He then laid his body down the green grass and closed his eyes to take a nap.

"Oaaa!"

Onix moved his body and curled up on side, waiting for further commands from Kota.

"Nidorino!"

Nidorino followed behind Kota and helped him to build the tent.

"Gengar!"

Diving in the shadow of Charizard, Gengar continued to look at the surroundings.

"Scizor!"

Scizor sat on the ground near the tent and watched out for any danger like how Fearow used to.

Talking about Fearow, he was sent to Professor Oak' lab for the time being.

"Done!, " Sighed Kota while looking at the tent, he turned to see his pokemons relaxing.

"Okay, enough wasting time! Let's train!, " Clapping his hands, Kota made his pokemons circle around him.

Gyarados peaked his head out and stared at Kota, he couldn't stand on the ground so he waited in the lake.

"You all will be training your main powers for a whole week starting today!, " Explained Kota loudly so Gyarados from the lake could hear him.

Kota then wrote the exercises in a paper which he read out to his pokemons.

Gyarados' training will be personally watched by Kota.
