Unlike her sister

Yesterday was the birthday celebration of Mrs. Miller, Alexi's mother but she did not even make an appearance nor send a gift. Rising from her bed she went straight to the bathroom to take a bath and get ready for work. She had a lot of work ahead of her as the school holidays would be over soon. After taking a quick shower she wore a black tie-neck blouse paired with black pants and shoes. She was not a fashion lover unlike her friend Penny she preferred to be as plain and unnoticeable as possible.

After breakfast, she immediately boarded a car waiting to take her to the company. Entering her office on the topmost floor of the building she was greeted with the sight of Penelope sitting on the couch with a tablet in her hand. She was wearing a red suit that complimented her golden locks. "Alex you're finally here. We really have a lot on our plate today, so let us get started". Unlike other teenagers, Alexi and Penelope were always busy. Instead of hanging out with friends; dating and doing any other things normal teens would do, they had to take care of one massive company and two medium-sized ones. To top it all off they were even the council president and vice president of the most prestigious school in the country.

"The child is just insolent father she won't listen to reason. She even moved out, I really don't know what to do with her now", Mrs. Miller said shaking her head. "We have been too lenient with her ", Mr. Miller's older sister Jane commented, "Why isn't she obedient like our dear Addison, and what were you thinking giving her the company's branch office, brother". Unlike her twin sister Addison, Alexa has always been viewed as insolent and defiant, she has always been the black sheep in the family. "Giving the company to Alexi was a good call, even though my dear granddaughter never obeys a word I say, she is not incompetent and the company is in good hands", Mr. Miller's father Charles commented. 'I should make her my heir, even though she's defiant she gets the job done ', the old man thought. "Quickly contact Alexi and inform her that she is required to host a party to introduce herself to the other members of the high society. She can't live her life as an enigma anymore", he commanded. "Okay, father", Jason abided by his father's wish and quickly contacted Alexa.
