Three's A Crowd
Darkness hung low over the chamber as they sat in a huddle, taking occasional sips from the flagons of water and chewing on a crunchy snack Neptune had provided. Cyan sat beside him, wringing his hands in anxiety, all the while muttering to himself as he muttered in his notebook. He had a plan in mind, as he kept trying to remind them, while Aurelia and Neptune argued like two drunkards at a bar after midnight.
'How can we POSSIBLY evacuate the village in a few hours?' Neptune snapped.
'So we let all these people die?' Aurelia snarled.
'They are NOT in any imminent danger, you idiot. We cannot progress on chances here...'
'What do you mean "no imminent danger!" If the volcano explodes, it will produce a shock wave that can cause a possible earthquake in the area.'
