Family First

The fluorescent lights flickered to life, casting an eerie glow across the empty classroom as Falcon's eyes fluttered open. The lights were kind of blue but began getting brighter as the surroundings swam to clarity. Confusion clouded his senses, his mind struggling to grasp the nightmarish reality that greeted him.

Although he knew he was inside the university, the surroundings were unfamiliar. The air was thick with a sense of disorientation that clung to him like a suffocating veil. Ropes cut into his hands and legs, and one slight twist of the ankle told him that they were expertly done. He was going to have a hard time breaking out of it, even if he did manage to. 

He was dealing with a threat he should begin taking seriously. 

Then the giggling began.

Their laughter, tinged with malevolence, pierced the silence of the classroom—a cacophony of mockery that reverberated like echoes amidst mountains..
