Chapter 8: Mech Association

Sarah and Ryan stayed in this 'intimate' position for some more time until Sarah's face turned rosy and she moved away from him while lightly pushing him away.

Seeing the blushing face of Sarah, Ryan had the urge to tease her. Before he could utter anything, Sarah's face turned serious, and said

"Let's start the training!"

Ryan nodded and they started training. Sarah trained Ryan about movement techniques, some attack techniques, defensive ones, counters, force nullifiers, etc.

This harsh training continued for hours until Ryan felt unconscious. After resting, they will again start. This cycle continued until the morning.

The next morning…..

Ryan and Sarah mysteriously appeared in their room. Even though Ryan looked normal, his emotional and mental state was a mess due to the harsh training.

Despite this stress, he was happy as he was able to grasp so many of those techniques and could execute them almost fluently.

He only had rested for about an hour in that unknown place and still was very sleepy. Despite this, he was very eager to go to the Mech Association.

After Sarah and Ryan ate breakfast, they started their journey to the Mech Association which was just ten minutes from their home. They both walked there and didn't take the taxis which were Mechs as they wanted to enjoy the sights with each other. Soon, they reached their destination.

The Mech Association was a large building. It was looking as if made of chromium of 'old Earth.' It wasn't that metal but a metal that was founded by a great scientist after the REBIRTH DAY. He found this metal had high defensive properties and could even survive the old nuclear bombs.

(A/N: The scientist's name is NANOTECHPIKACHU. XD)

Ryan curiously looked at the interiors of the Mech Association. Despite being made of the same metal, this had many different characteristics. The interior was of different colors. Some part of this metal was soft while some were hard. It was truly mysterious in its sense.

After Ryan exited his stupor and he went to the reception. In there was a lady which was undoubtedly not a human, she was a Mech.

"Good Morning, mam. I would like to register myself." Ryan said politely to the receptionist Mech.

The receptionist Mech looked towards Ryan and Sarah as if assessing them and said

"Sure. You can go to the room you see left. There would be a person. You can talk to him and he will tell you the next process."

Ryan thanked the receptionist and went towards the room.

After he entered the room, he saw a middle-aged man sitting in a chair. As soon as he saw Ryan, he got up as he was sure that they had come for registration.

"Welcome to Mech Association. You have to first fill up your personal information while your partner(Mech) will have to fill up hers."

After saying this, he handed a paper to Ryan and Sarah who quickly filled it up and gave it back to the man.

He read through the information and was delighted as well as envious seeing that the Mech has a Legendary Bloodline.

"Sir, only Elders can process your request due to the Legendary Bloodline. Please come with me to meet an Elder."

Ryan and Sarah nodded and followed the man. After walking for a minute, they entered a hall that was more lavishly fabricated than the others. In there, an old man was sitting alone and had a powerful aura surrounding him.

The middle-aged man went towards the old man who was an Elder and told him the situation. The Elder's eyes lit up as he heard the Legendary Bloodline. After explaining the situation, the middle-aged man left leaving the Elder, Ryan, and Sarah.

"You are quite lucky to get a Legendary Bloodline partner. Due to this, you will have a bright future and will get extra benefits from the Mech Association. Your ID card will be different and more powerful as it's extremely rare for a Legendary-ranked Mech to appear.

Only less than fifty of them have been reported and registered with the Mech Association. Still, you would have to take a test to measure your combat capacity. It's just a small spar along with your Mech. You have to defeat a person with the same Mech level as yours. By the way, what's the level?"

"Mechanical Foundation (2nd Realm), Sir."

The Elder merely nodded hiding his shocked expression under his neutral face. He was sure that this guy is a genius to get such a high-level Mech on the first try.

The Elder took his phone from his pocket and called someone.

Within a short while, a person who would be in his mid-20s appeared in the room/hall. He bowed towards Elder and waited for further instructions.

"Test this new applicant. His Mech is already on the same level as yours. He must defeat you to pass the exam and become a member."

The man merely nodded and told Ryan and Sarah to follow him to the training area where they could easily fight.

The training area was a large ground about the size of a football ground. Its ground was not sand nor any grass. It was a special material that was hard as a rock when we stand and if we fall on it, it would be as soft as a sponge. This could allow us to stand comfortably and also nullify the risk of hurting when fell.

This material was also discovered by the same genius scientist. Even though he discovered it and its effects, he too doesn't know the cause of this mystery of the double standards of this material.

Due to this characteristic only, this material was used as the ground material of the training place.

"Let's start?" The man along with his Mech asked Ryan with a smile as he believed he could beat this brat who only became a Mech owner now.
