Do you Trust Me?

Good thing I woke Newt up or else he'd probably freak out. The cranks aren't attacking the bus, but we are surrounded. They probably don't even know that we're in here.

BOOM

Another crash against the bus, which caused Newt to jump.

"we're sitting ducks," he whispered.

"Alright, I have a plan." I explained, "It's not a good one but I still have one."

Through the lantern wasn't bright enough to see I could tell that he was smiling. I motioned for him to follow me to the front of the bus. Quickly, we crawled our way to the front of the bus. Newt right behind me ready to do everything I say. He turned to look out the window, worry in his face. I stared at the hair that was so long. Then I brushed it behind his ears, remembering my little brother. Newt looked at me, as I remembered the situation, I turned towards the front of the bus and put in the keys. Then sat in the driver's seat, I looked towards NEwt again and mouthed,

"Do you trust me?" I needed to know before I risk my life to save our butts.

Newt still shocked by me pushing the hair behind his ears nodded agreeing.

Alight here goes nothing. I turned the engine on and it came to life once again with a roar. The cranks then turned towards the bus as the sound made them jump on it. I then slammed on the gas peddle and off we going as fast as we possibly could. The night was pitch black and in all of the fear and confusion, I forgot to turn on the headlights. I couldn't tell where we were going but all I did know was that there weren't any cranks on the bus anymore. I turned around back to Newt to make sure he was okay. Newt had changed from sitting on the floor to a seat on the right side of the bus. He was smiling as big as possible as if he knew there was hope for the future.
