[ 28 ] A Day With Little Birdy

Sunlight entered through the window, hitting my face with some warmth. I squinted by eyes before opening them.

I yawned while rubbing my eyes. My gaze fell on the little pink bird sleeping on the table alongside the bed.

It looked so cute and peaceful while sleeping. It's the one of the most innocent looking beings I ever saw.

I gently kissed it's forehead before getting off this bed. It's time to get ready for the classes.

When I came out of the shower, little birdy had already got up. It looked around the unfamiliar room with counfustion.

I gently picked up and hugged it.

What surprised me most was that it hugged me back. That was one of the cutest thing I ever saw.

I couldn't help but chuckle, might die from little birdy's cuteness someday.

I placed it on little birdy's bed, before saying "I will bring you something to eat."

Strangely it nodded at my words. It's intelligence is very high, to be honest. Almost like a human.

I walked towards the dining hall in a fast pace. I saw Claude and Nova eating together, I went near to greet them.

"Hey Louise" Said Nova, when he noticed me. I gave him a smile.

I looked at Claude while tilting my head "Hi Nova, hi Claude. Why did you woke up so early, Claude? You usually don't do that."

He dodged my curious gaze, looking past me, just to avoid eye contact, before saying "I just wanted to accompany you too."

I squinted my eyes in suspiciousne at him "You wanted to accompany us..or Nova"

I whispered the last part, so Nova wouldn't able to hear. Claude glared angrily at me with his grey eyes beneath those round glasses.

I just gave him a small chuckle. Nova looked at both us with a cute and confused face.

I laughed hard at that, he so innocent...! I will probably kidnap him someday.

Unknown to my thoughts, Nova said "Aren't you going to sit with us Louise?"

I shacked my head, as a no and said "I have something important to do, we will chat in lunch time"

Nova nodded at that.

"Now hurry up and leave. We got something else to say" Said Claude sassily.

I just rolled my eyes at him, before buying some cooked Ramen and some potential things to feed little birdy like, Milk, Sugar-free Cookies, some vegetable seeds and edible vegetables that little can probably eat.

I hurriedly made my way towards my room. I had spent quite time here, little birdy might get anxious.

After getting in the room I gave little birdy it's food and started to eat some Ramen noodles for myself.

I don't want little birdy to go in the noisy dining hall and I can't bring bring food from dining hall.

Yes, apperantly you can't bring food from dining hall to your room. But can bring the brought food with your own money to the table.

Me and little birdy was eating the food pretty fast to be honest. The Ramen noodles ware very good, for there price. It has been a while I eated them, and I sure missed the heavenly taste.

After finnally the Ramen, I looked at little birdy who also had finished eating and was looking cute with his slightly bloated cute stomach.

It looked at me and rolled his eyes. Oh.. it's probably a way of calling me bear him.

I holded little birdy in my hands and looked at in it's eyes. it blinked innocently at me, I strocked it gently before saying "I will have to go the class. Will you behave well and stay in the room like a good bird?"

Little birdy froze on the spot, before nodding. I placed it on bed and kissed his forehead before leaving towards the room.

I didn't noticed that poor little bird was flushed red behind me.

It was night time and I yawned, after finishing my book. I was feeling pretty tired to be honest.

I walked towards the little birdy, who seem to sleepy too. I picked it up and said "Not now little birdy, we have to change your bandages first"

Little birdy tiredly nodded and let me change this bandages.

My eyes widened, when I looked at little birdy's wound. It was already healed.

The medicine I used was a good one, but it couldn't heal such a nasty wound this fast. It should atleast took a whole month to heal, rather than only 2 weeks.

I looked at little birdy with question-able gaze, it just tilted it's head, looking at me with his big doe eyes.

I stared into those eyes, until little birdy grew uncomfortable and turned his head around.

"You look like a innocent, cute and fat little bird but you are hiding quite things from me."

It hurriedly bited on my finger in anger. I hissing, it didn't hurt much to be honest. Little birdy's beak is so small, that it can't make me feel much pain.

Little birdy hurriedly looked at me with naked worry in his his eyes. He looked down in guilty and softly snuggled against my hurted finger.

I felt bad for making poor birdy upset. I hugged him and took him to his head. Little birdy was still looking down ashamed of his actions.

I couldn't keep seeing little birdy like that, so I finnally spoked softly "Hey, don't worry little birdy. It doesn't hurt much"

Little birdy looked at my finger then my eyes, as if confirming that it didn't hurted. I nodded my head to him and layed him on my bed, I feel like sleeping with him today.

Both I and little birdy were already pretty tired, some both fell asleep later.

I didn't expected when the next morning I woke up, I would see a Strange Man laying on my bed.
