First, I put the bone in a black, thick cardboard box and place it at a special angle according to its shape.
There are specific angles for specific bones.
After setting the specific angle of the bone, you throw a thick black honey syrup on it.
I don't know what material it is made from; for all I know, it's a high-level potion with honey as the main ingredient.
I looked at my bone, which was actually a skull. It looked a little disgusting, to be honest.
After throwing that weird, thick liquid potion called Activater, we threw some pearl dust on it.
It looked quite good after that, but this wasn't the main point at the moment.
I started to swung my wand and opened my mouth to say a spell: 'In the divine name of Goddess Aurora, please lend me power and show me the secrets of this bone'
The old-looking notepad glowed a little before golden words started to appear on it out of nowhere. After it was done, the gold was dimmed, and only black letters were left.
I slowly picked it up and started to read it. I had written what I wanted to know, like the creature's name, how they died, etc.
Bone of a Pink Baloon Racoon. It died a month ago. The cause of the death was illness. It was 2 years and 8 months old when it died.
Hearing that, I signed in disappointment. I thought I had picked some rare bones.
A pink balloon racoon only lives up to 3 years; it was just a bone of a normal balloon racoon who died of illness.
Next time, I will find a better bone out of that mountain of bones in the storeroom.
Teacher gave me an A. While my chosen bone wasn't that great, I was able to do that on my first try.
Only a few were able to do that before the end of the class.
Should I be smug about it? No. As long as it isn't A+, I will try harder. Even if I get a A+, I will try hander.
Harder and harder untill I completely master...but that will have to wait for alot of time.
I was ready to go on my next class, actually my favourite class. Even more than flying class and Potionelogy class.
The Elemental Class...
I was getting excited as Prof. Rooi entered the class.
I always dreamt of becoming a great elemental magic user, although it was only dreamt of when I was just five years old.
By the recent events going on in this fucked-up academy, I have already learned that only elemental magic is the real lifesaver.
The enemy won't care what kind of magic you use; the only thing that matters to them is to destroy you.
Let alone beasts; even humans are untrustworthy. That's why I always practice elemental magic in my free time.
Basic magic and other things are important, but not as much as life-saving magic, or elemental magic.
Everyone greeted Prof. Rooi cheerfully. Almost half of the class is filled with Lionden's students' because Lionden has more Elemental users.
Nightgale had a good amount of offensive magic users too, but they are not necessarily in the elemental magic section.
People usually call them the defensive magic group. They have more defensive and tough personalities.
Arden had more smart and least offensive magic users.
After all, they focus on more auxiliary magic. Which is for a more safe and peaceful life.
While Lionden and Nightgale students are usually only able to join the millitary-related stuff,.
As always, we were going outside to practice. Elemental magic is not something you can practice indoors anyway.
I followed the rest of the class to the training grounds. They are available for everyone. But I don't usually practice here.
There is an issue of privacy here. And any random student or teacher can barge here anytime; that's why I don't come here often. Except when I am coming for class.
I prefer the empty ground of Abandoned Garden more. There is good privacy there because no one usually goes there.
We went to our groups. The group is divided according to our levels.
Other than me, there were three more people in my group, with one of them being Claude.
Nova's magic level was not as good as ours; he was placed in the B group. According to his rank,.
He had naturally mild water magic infinity. While Claude had a naturally destructive fire magic infinity.
Professor Rooi came to us first because we were superior in terms of skills to the other five groups.
We will first temporarily unite with people similar to our abilities.
And teacher Rooi will show us some spells according to our magic type.
After seeing the spell, we will go back to our groups and practice it.
They probably didn't place all one element users together because, if all water magic users started to practice together, there would be a mini-tsunami.
Or if they placed all the fire magic users, their place would start to burn.
That's why they placed us with people whose magic is different from ours, to avoid any accidents.
Other than me and Claude, those three had one nature, one water, and one earth type user.
The one with earth-type infinity was naturally a good magic user, at the same levels as Claude. Others weren't that far behind.
But they didn't look very approachable to me. So it was only Claude and me practicing together.
The spell taught by professer Rooi was either a total good or a total bad, because there are very few circumstances in which we can use it.
But if used well, it is a very good spell. So I thought to learn it; in any case, it won't be that bad.
The only problem here is that it's an A-standard spell. Professor Rooi doesn't have many ice-type spells, I guess. to teach us this.
Or simply because I have good learning skills, he thought to teach me a harder spell and make my pace similar to other ice magic infinity users.
Well, if that's the case, I will accept the challenge.
