Chapter 7

4years later!

A man in a suit closing the door of his office smiling. Suitcase on his left hand, right hand locking the knob of his door. Fixing his suit for one last time and checking all the lights, he makes sure that his office is protected from any intruders.

Walking while smiling he didn't notice the danger lurking around him. Piercing red eyes looking at him intently, eyeing his every move waiting for a chance to attack.

The man takes his turn in a dark alley of the building when his senses caught something strange. As a vampire himself he knows if he is in danger. He turns around to go back to his office a swiftly as he can. He reaches the door in no time, opening it at a fast pace.

Getting inside again,  he dialed a number but to his surprised the wire was cut. He lean to check it but he notice a pair of black combat shoes in front of him when he look up to see his neck was swiftly cut with a silver katana. His body stiffened like rock, a little drop of blood flowed from his neck. His head falls behind him as he drops to the floor of his office.

"As much as I want to enjoy seeing you in pain, I just serve you the death you deserved! That would be fair! " He placed one sunflower above his head then the assassin left the place taking him a gold necklace that has a name on it "Jeff Ramirez".

Gulf woke up early, just last week he received an e-mail telling him that he have to attend two years in university so that he can get his diploma. It means he has to attend school in person in two years! Sighing deeply for he can't do anything about it, he accepts and registers himself for the semester.

Although attending university will be a new challenge for him, it will be useful for him to hide his identity while taking down his enemies.

He saw his father eating breakfast on a long table, Henry looks up when he smells his son's scent.

"You miss the early news! " Henry told his son about Jeff Ramirez's death as a headline all over the news.

"Yeah? You know I don't give a damn with a news dad! " Gulf kiss his father good morning.

"I know! But it's quite interesting sometimes! By the way, You're going to attend university tomorrow! Are you ready? " Henry asks his son while stuffing his mouth with food.

"Yes! Excited to know who will be the next biology professor since the other is dead! " Gulf casually said those words though he knows who killed the man.

"You take him down in your university, you silly! " Henry wipe his mouth and prepare to go.

"That's my way of thanking the school for accepting me! And dad, I'll be home late tonight I need to buy some stuff for tomorrow." Gulf said grinning at his father.

"Be careful son, I let Ja and Haii watch you just in case, and no! This is not for arguing, give your father peace of mind! They will not get in your way, they will just make sure you are safe! " Henry look at his son sideways, he saw Gulf nod.

Gulf finished his food and was ready to go to the mall to shop. Ja and Haii are watching him from afar, while his checking some notebooks in one of the shops.

He is about to pick a book that has a cover of different flowers when another handheld it. He looks up and meets the eyes of a wolf omega.  The omega looks down immediately dropping the books and utter sorry to Gulf.

"No it's fine, if you want you can have it, I'll just choose another one.! " Gulf said it made the omega look at him surprised.

The omega is about to speak when someone called his name.

"Mild, you just here we've been looking for you! " a male vampire scolded the omega, he came with another vampire and a wolf beta.

Gulf looks at them confused.

The group notices him and the two vampires smile at him.

"Hi alpha, I'm Win a vampire, this Fluke a vampire also and this is Saint a beta wolf and this Mild his an omega. " Win pointed at each person while introducing them.

He didn't answer they just look at them.

"Young master! "Ja called his name. He looks at the two with wide eyes.

The group in front of him looks at him in shock. For they didn't know that the person in front of them is not just an ordinary alpha wolf.

"I'm sorry for being rude, sir! We just thought you are just an ordinary alpha like the others! "  Saint said bowing his head.

"No, please! Uhm, I'm an ordinary person these two here is just my friend, who Like. To. Tease.! " Gulf glare at Ja and Haii and the two get it what Gulf wants to imply.

"Oh! So it means we can be friends? It seems that you are looking for some school supplies we will be happy to accompany you! " Mild suggests.

Gulf doesn't know what to say, if ever he accepts the invitation he will gain new friends but it means he needs to be very careful about his identity.

He didn't get to answer when Mild grab his hand and guide him to the corner to choose pens. They talked and laugh and at the end of the day, Gulf feels comfortable being with them.

Then Gulf is about to enter the car waiting for him when he heard the group calling him, but they halt when they saw the car. The Audi R8 V10 MTM Biturbo is shining in front of them, they look at Gulf who is holding the door in a driver seat area.



"Aahhmmm, I think we should go! " Win turn around and motioned his friends to go but Gulf called them.

Gulf closed the door of the car and face them, they are bowing their heads.

"Are you guys have an issue with rich people? " Gulf calmly asked them.

He look at them one by one and observed their actions.

"No Gulf, we just avoiding issues, you know if you are in university, you should be in a group of your level. We don't want to be the target just because we are friends with someone like you! I admit that we want to be friends with you, I feel secured the moment you look at me, but no! I don't like you romantically I just feel secured around you that's all! " Win explained and his other friends agreed.

"I judge people by their attitude guys, not by their status in life! If you want to be friends with me then let's be friends! " Gulf comforted them. He admits that having them around made him realize that he's not living his teenage life.

Staying at home, training hard, studying. He realized how boring his life was, meeting this newfound friend was relaxing and fun.

The group smile at him and told him that they forget to have his phone number. Gulf obliged to give it to them and promise to meet them if they have time.

Gulf goes home with a smile on his face, he is 19 years old, he never has friends. Liam, Henry then Ja and Haii and the other servants and guards of the mansion is his only companion in every occasion of his life.

Morning came and he wake up early to ready for his first day at IUNAE LUMEN University. His dad is waiting for him at the table. As the usual routine, he kisses him good morning and eats his meal.

"Are you in a hurry son? I'd like to take a little minute of your time after we eat! " Henry looked at him smiling.

"Sure dad! I just woke up early, I think I'm excited! " Gulf said.

The news about Jeff Ramirez that got murdered inside the university ground gives a little chaos. No traces found, it's a clean assassination. Gulf is calm as he is, he never shows any tremor of killing the biology professor. Jeff is the one who killed the boy that they thought was the son of Anthony and Meredith Mitchell. So Gulf gave him a fair share.

After eating Henry motioned Gulf to his office.

"This is the key to your new house, 15 minutes drive from school. " Gulf looks at his father in shock. "You will be attending school son! There are men of the Gothic Guild loitering the area of the University. Once they found out that you are living with a vampire, it will be difficult to finish your mission. Use your vampire on killing them and use your wolf when attending the university." Henry explained.

"But dad, I don't want you to be alone here. We don't know who sent those assassins last time!  " Gulf argued.

"Come home every weekend! It's for you to be dependent on your own! I am proud of the man you have become! " Henry cupped his son's face and planted a kiss on his forehead. They hug tightly, Gulf didn't say any words for he is about to cry.

Leaving the house where he spent all his childhood memories is hurting him, but his dad, is right, he has to be more cautious now that he start his revenge. He doesn't want to put his father's life on the line.

Reaching the school is quite easy, but he gained popularity in an instance. The moment he steps out of his car all eyes are on him. Some alpha wolf glared at him, they scent a strong and dominant alpha in him. Some women giving him a flirtatious smile both wolves and vampires.

He ignored all the stares as he walk through the building, pretending that he didn't know the way even though he memorized every hallway. He studies at this university for three years for his target was working here.

He is looking at the bulletin board when he heard a familiar voice. A smile forms on his lips then he turns around. The shocked faces look at him and run towards him smiling.

The image of a new alpha getting hugged by an omega, beta and two vampires annoyed the guts of jealous people inside the university. Glaring nonstop, scoffing from side to side. Gulf notice it all.

"Seems that we have to protect our newfound friends! " Blizzard said.

"I guess we will! " Gulf agreed.

"We will tour you around, you never said that you will study here! " Mild chirp in.

"You guys sure? I don't want to be a bother! " Gulf said in a humble tone.

The group shake their heads and push him to walk. They are talking and laughing that they didn't notice the huge figure in front of them. Saint is the one who bumps in.

"Look where you are heading shits!! " Saint bow down and said sorry, the group laugh and mock them. Gulf look at the man who called his friends "shit".

An alpha wolf who wears a lot of accessories. Mild grab Gulf's hand and pull him away, but got stop when the rude alpha grabs Gulf's other hand.

"Do you think you guys can get away- AWWW!!! " the rude alpha scream in pain when Gulf twists his hand in front of everyone?

"The next time you threatened my friends and called them fouled names, I will cut your tongue! " Gulf snarl at him, make everyone step back.

They are about to leave but the voice echoed all around the hall like thunder. But it made Gulf's heartbeat went crazy.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK OF A SCHOOL GROUND? A FIGHTING ARENA?? " the powerful voice of an alpha ringing into their ears.

That voice never failed to bring chills on Gulf's spine. This voice is his mate.

He turn around but got surprised when everyone is bowing their heads. He looks around and everyone is looking down. He looks up to the owner of the voice. He got companion 4 male alphas and his MATE.

He never forgets the face of his mate, his beautiful eyes are warm at that time, not like now, it's scary.

"Gulf... " Saint called his name in a whisper, so he look at him. "Bow your head... " Saint said in a whisper again, but Gulf ignore him and look at the 5 alphas in front of him.

Mild this time pulls the hem of his shirt, so he looks at Mild, but Win grabs his head and forces him to bow down.

"Aw, what the heck Win? " His friend's eyes went wide in horror.

Gulf didn't know that he is facing the wolf king.

"Hey, what's your name? " The alpha beside his mate asks.

He is about to answer when Mild speaks.

"I'm so sorry your highness, our friends here came from a faraway mountain where the internet and technology haven't reach yet! He didn't know you... Your Highness! " Mild speak without taking a breath.

Gulf eyes went wide and look at the alpha, he saw a small smile on the wolf king's lips. Now he realized that he is mated to the King of Wolves. He didn't break the stare with the alpha until the Alpha speak.

"Go to your classes now! " everyone quickly takes their leave, Win grabs Gulf's hand who still looking at the Wolf King. "You! Follow me in my office! "
