67. Sorry for the Lack of Humor

Still occupying a room in the hospital, Kara fiddles with her new cell phone that Jon had just given her as a replacement for her old one. What she did first was replying to chats from her friends, most of whom asked if she was okay. She grimaced a little when she found some chats from her friends at the motorcycle club. They basically begged her to come. They even said they felt sorry for Rio who had prepared Kara's birthday party when it was supposed to be a surprise.

Kara took a deep breath and shook her head slightly. She felt sorry for them because she didn't tell them what really happened. Her friends must be disappointed and worried.

"Sorry," Kara whispered a little, then replied to them one by one with an apology.
