Lucas laughed. "After this small victory of ours today, I thought about my ambitions of taking over the world." He buried his face inside his hands. "Now that I think about it, I was pretty stupid, weren't I?"
Saye refused to believe this act of his. "You're still stupid. If I'm not wrong, you must have some other heinous plan bubbling inside you right now."
Lucas smiled against his palms. "Ah, you really are my sister, half-blood or not. If you weren't, I don't think we could have shamed mother in front of her partners so easily." Lucas thought back on how they showed pictures of their mother harassing their employees to the chairman of the company who wanted to collaborate with Evertech. They didn't reveal that they were the children of Mrs Trenner, of course, but after the photos were checked for their legibility, the chairman believed them easily and cancelled off Evertech's collaboration immediately.
