Face to face with the closest relation to the King that destroyed us all. It was nerve-wracking. I was standing in the middle of that restaurant, clad in a suit Saye had chosen for me. I had no idea about the current fashion sense, but she was a queen in that field. And because of that, I probably looked confident, acted cool and collected. Inside, I was a mess.
The place was the opposite of crowded. The only people there were the lean waiters and waitresses, and a couple in the corner. I tried not to gulp as I stepped forward. He heard it and turned to look at me.
A smug smile lit up on his face and waited for me to stand next to him. Without his permission, I sit. That seemed to have affected him a bit and he collected himself. He called for the waiter and he took our orders. I just ordered the first thing on the list, not caring what it was. I don't think I'll leave this place with my tummy full anyway. I wasn't sure if I'd be leaving at all.
